IIT Goa: Cutoff 2026, Fees, Courses, Placement, Admission and Ranking

IIT Goa JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 4654 and, 10653 for the General AII India category students. Among all the BTech specialisations, BTech in CSE is the most competitive specialisation. The Last Round for Computer Science and Engineering is 4654 for the General AI category.

The tuition fee of BTech at IIT Goa is INR 8 lakh. They need to pay a one-time payment of INR 7,000. Candidates need to pay the course fee as the last step of admission process to confirm admission. This number is taken from official sources. It can change.

Aspirants who have completed a master's degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate or CPI 6/ 10 or equivalent (55% aggregate or CPI 5.5/10 for SC/ ST) with a minimum of two-years of work experience at the time of application are eligible to apply for part-time PhD programme. 

Candidates who have completed bachelor's degree or master's degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology at least 60% aggregate or CPI 6/ 10 or equivalent (55% aggregate or CPI 5.5/10 for SC/ ST) can also apply. Aspirants need to have a four-year of experience after bachelor's degree and one-year experience after master's degree.

IIT Goa applications usually open in second week of June every year. The applications closes by the end of June. The institute also conducts a written test followed by interview to shortlist aspirants for the PhD programme. Aspirants with a valid score in GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, etc. can also apply for the PhD course.

Candidates applying for PhD course at IIT Goa have to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 200. There is a relaxation in the application fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ EWS/ female candidates. The fee for such aspirants is INR 200. Aspirants need to pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes.

Candidates need to complete a master's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent degree with 60% aggregate or CPI 6/10 or equivalent. (55% aggregate or CPI 5.5/10 or equivalent for SC/ST) to apply for IIT Goa PhD programme. Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 70% aggregate or CPI 7 (65% aggregate or 6.5 CPI for SC/ ST candidates) can also apply.

Candidates willing to fill out GATE application form can find all the required details below:

• Personal information should be required to be filled in, including name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents' name, etc. The GATE scorecard will be issued as per the name entered in the application form. Prefix/title such as Mr/ Shri/ Dr/ MS/ Smt, etc. should not be used before the name.

• Eligibility degree details
• College name and address with PIN code
• GATE paper (subject)
• Choice of GATE examination cities

IIT Goa MTech fee is a cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, hostel fee, library fee, security deposit, etc. Some of the components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/half-yearly.
