The tuition fee of BTech at IIT Goa is INR 8 lakh. They need to pay a one-time payment of INR 7,000. Candidates need to pay the course fee as the last step of admission process to confirm admission. This number is taken from official sources. It can change.
Aspirants who have completed a master's degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate or CPI 6/ 10 or equivalent (55% aggregate or CPI 5.5/10 for SC/ ST) with a minimum of two-years of work experience at the time of application are eligible to apply for part-time PhD programme.
Candidates who have completed bachelor's degree or master's degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology at least 60% aggregate or CPI 6/ 10 or equivalent (55% aggregate or CPI 5.5/10 for SC/ ST) can also apply. Aspirants need to have a four-year of experience after bachelor's degree and one-year experience after master's degree.
IIT Goa applications usually open in second week of June every year. The applications closes by the end of June. The institute also conducts a written test followed by interview to shortlist aspirants for the PhD programme. Aspirants with a valid score in GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, etc. can also apply for the PhD course.

Your Class 12 marks does not matter for admission at IIT Goa for the MSc courses. For admission at this IIT for the MSc programme, you would need to first have a Bachelors degree with at least 55% marks for the General and OBC categories (50% marks for the SC, ST and PWD categories).

As per the JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 for Round 1, the IIT Jammu CSE cutoff was 6738 for General AI category students. For IIT Goa and IIT Bhilai, the first-round closing ranks for the same specialisations were 6448 and 7981, respectively. So, comparing the cutoff ranks, IIT Jammu has a lenient cutoff
