IIT Jammu BTech programme of four-year duration is offered across seven specialisations. For admission in a BTech course of IIT Jammu, the candidates have to pass the JEE Advanced examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates have to appear for JEE Main and those who pass this have to take the JEE Advanced. The seat allotment procedure is further carried out through JoSAA counselling. The seats are allotted as per the rank secured in the entrance examination. Moreover, it is advisable that the aspirants check out the eligibility requirements before applying.

IIT Jammu total tuition fee for the BTech course is INR 8 lakh. The total tuition fee for the M.Tech course is INR 80,000. The fee for the MSc course is INR 26,000. Expensive or not, depends on person to person. Those students who find the fee expensive must apply for the scholarships.
