Other eligibility criteria | Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2022.
Candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1997 (5 years relaxation is given to SC, ST & PwD candidates).
Candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2021 or 2022 with PCM subjects.
Candidate who appeared in class 12th (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2020 OR 2021 & successfully registered for JEE (Advanced) 2021 but were absent in both the papers, i.e., Paper 1 & Paper 2, of JEE (Advanced) 2021, they do not need to fulfil the above mentioned criteria. Further, these candidates would be considered in addition to & not as part of the total number of candidates who would qualify from JEE (Main) 2022 for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2022. This is a one-time measure valid only for JEE (Advanced) 2022.

The admission in B.Des. courses at IIT Hyderabad are done through the ranks obtained in Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED). The UCEED is conducted once in an year (Generally in the month of January). The eligibility criteria of UCEED is given below.
Eligibility criteria for year 2021: Candidates who have cleared the qualifying exam, that is, class 12 or equivalent exam, in 2020 or are appearing for their qualifying exam in 2021, meet UCEED eligibility criteria 2021. Candidates from any stream Commerce, Science, Arts and Humanities, meet the eligibility criteria for UCEED exam.
Aspirants who are from the Science stream and have studied subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for admission at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates from any other stream (Science without Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) can apply for admission at IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur, only.
Age criteria : Candidates belonging to Open/EWS/OBC-NCL category meet UCEED 2021 eligibility criteria if they are born on or after October 1, 1996. On the other hand, SC/ST/PwD category candidates are eligible to apply for the exam if they are born on or after October 1, 1991.
Number of Attempts : Candidates can give UCEED exam two times and that also in consecutive years only. However, candidates are informed that the score of the exam is valid for one year only and shall be used for admission in that given year only.
