What's new at IIT Ropar? IIT Bombay has extended the last date of JEE Advanced 2022 registration. The registration will now end on Aug 12 at 8 pm. JEE Advanced exam 2022 is scheduled for Aug 28. IIT JAM 2023 notification has been released by the IIT Guwahati (conducting body). Conducted for admission to MSc courses, the registration for the same will begin on Sep 7 on the official website of JAM. GATE 2023 applications will start on Aug 31 and will go on till Sep 30. The exam will take place between Feb 4 and Feb 12.

Placements: In recent official statistics (2019-2020), the placement percentage of computer science is 97.5%, with a median package of 24 Lacs per annum. I am not sure about the packages. The average package is 24.58 LPA. Every company visits here except for 2-3 finance-related companies.
Infrastructure: As our campus is new, we have amazing hostels, LAN with a speed of 900 Mbps, common room (with TV), laundry, and three cafes. A huge library is still under construction, and it may be completed in 4-5 months. We have a good...

IIT Ropar permanent campus is located on Birla Seed Farms and is spread over 501 acres. The campus has academic, residential, sports, training and career development, transportation and healthcare facilities. IIT Ropar has been awarded the 5 Star Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) rating, which is one of the highest national ratings for Green Buildings. Some other facilities provided at this institute are as follows:
