Good placement rate this year

Placements: So, first of all, thank you, Shiksha, for giving me this opportunity. I am currently in my 2nd year of Biotech. Last year, the placement rate was very low. Only 4 students got placed. But this time, it has increased by more than 400%. Around 24 students got offers, and 21 got placed. This is a huge step towards making Biotech a good branch placement-wise in NITRR.

Decent for placements and poor for campus life. Good for opportunities.

Placements: For core ECE there are only 4-5 companies including PSUs like BEL. Most students either go for software roles or appear for the GATE examination to try for further studies or a government job. Software and Data Analyst roles are available on campus. 70-80 percent of students are placed.

Academically excellent with supportive faculty, but hostel accommodation facilities are limited.

Placements: Honestly, I don’t know the exact data, but this year our dean was in charge, and we faced some consequences. Many known recruiters did not take our branch and instead selected mechanical students. The highest package offered in our course is around 16 LPA, and the average is around 9 LPA. Companies like Reliance, JSW, Jindal, Tata, etc., visit for recruitment, though I may be missing some others. Around 100% of students are placed, but I am not sure about the companies. I do not have information...

Actually pretty satisfied with faculty and placements, though the infrastructure is not as good.

Placements: Approximately 90% of students in my class get placed. The highest package is 33 LPA, and the lowest package is 5.5 LPA. Companies such as Google, Visa, Jindal, Microsoft, CNH, and JSW recruit from the campus. Around 50% to 60% of the roles offered are in SDE, Data Analyst, Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), and similar positions. Both core and non-core roles are available. Many opportunities are offered by the college, making placements quite good.

Absolutely worthy regarding my department, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

Placements: Around 85% of students are placed. The highest package is 18 LPA in the core sector, while the lowest is 7 LPA. The average package is around 8–10 LPA. Companies like JSW, TATA, and Vedanta visit the campus. Top roles are offered in both core and non-core sectors depending on the chosen specialization. The course provides good preparation for both areas and offers good opportunities in core fields as well.

Absolutely satisfied with the college because of placements.

Placements: Placement is one of the best things about National Institute of Technology Raipur. Despite being considered a middle to lower NIT, students still choose it mainly because of its placement rates. It is not just for CS and IT, but also because core placements are good, especially in Mechanical, Chemical, and Metallurgy. For Mechanical, the average remains close to 8–9 LPA over the last 2–3 years, and the highest goes around 18–20 LPA. The placement rate is among the finest compared to other branch...
