Q:   How many questions will there be in the KCET 2025 exam?

Karnataka Examination Authority mentions the KCET 2025 exam pattern in the official notification. The KCET 2025 exam comprises 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will have 60 questions from various topics. Candidates appearing in the exam are advise to go through the KCET exam pattern 2025 thoroughly for their effective preparations. Applicants will be provided with 80 minutes to complete each paper. Candidates from Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga have to appear for the KCET Kannada language exam. The Kannada language of KCET exam comprises 50 questions. Candidates will be provided with 60 minutes to complete the language test. 

Q:   What type of questions are asked in KCET paper?
A:

Karnataka Examination Authority mentions the KCET 2025 exam pattern in the official notification. KCET 2025 exam comprises multiple choice questions. Each question in KCET exam 2025 will have 4 alternatives. Applicants have to mark their answers in OMR sheet provided at the time of exam. There will be only one correct option to each question asked in the KCET exam. There will be no numerical type questions. Applicants have to mark their final answers only from the alternatives provided in the question booklet. There will be no question in KCET 2025 question paper with multiple correct alternatives.

A:

Karnataka Examination Authority releases the KCET 2024 question paper at the official website after the conclusion of the exam. Applicants can download the KCET previous year question papers at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.  

  • Visit the KCET official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. 

  • Click on the KCET UGCET tab from the homepage. 

  • Now, click on the “Admissions” tab and select previous year question papers link. 

  • Select the year from the dropdown menu. 

  • Download the question papers for future reference.

Karnataka Examination Authority provides KCET question paper in both English and Kannada language. Applicants appearing in the exam can read questions in any one language. Candidates must note that in case of any mismatch in KCET question paper 2024, the English language will prevail. Each paper in the KCET exam comprises 60 questions. All the instructions and guidelines provided in KCET 2024 question paper is also provided in English and Kannada language. Karnataka Examination Authority will allow candidates to raise objections in KCET Maths answer key 2023 from May 25 to 27.   • Visit the KEA official website - kea.kar.nic.in.  
  • Click on the KCET answer key objection link.  
  • Login using application number and date of birth.

KCET Result 2023 

Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET 2023 result on June 12 at the official website. The cutoff ranks vary for differnt rounds and categories. If you belong to the General AI category, the KCET last round closing rank for BTech in CSE was 70084. Under the HS quota, the cutoff rank for the same stood at 77281.
