KCET seat allotment 2019 result for the extended round declared by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on August 21. Shortlisted candidates can exercise an option for their seat allotment from July 31, 2019 (1 pm) to August 2, 2019 (6 pm).
Round 2 seat allotment results for KCET were declared by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on June 30. Candidates can check their respective KCET 2019 seat allotment results on the official website of KEA. To check the same, candidates will have to login on the official website using their KCET application number and password.

If in case, a candidate is not satisfied with their KCET seat allotment result, he/she can wait for further rounds of seat allotment. Option entry for the second round of KCET seat allotment 2019 is expected to commence from the first week of August.
Prior to the release of final seat allotment results, KEA releases the mock allotment results. The aim is to give candidates an idea about their chances of bagging a seat in their preferred choice of college ad course. At this stage, candidates who are not satisfied with the mock allotment results will get the opportunity to modify/ make changes to the list of their choices. This will be the last chance for candidates after which KEA will be declaring the final KCET seat allotment results.
Candidates who cleared KCET 2019, conducted on April 29 & 30 in offline mode will be able to participate in KCET counselling process for the document verification and seat allotment. KEA had announced KCET result 2019 on May 25. The offline process of document verification round 1 was held from June 6 to June 19, 2019.

KCET 2019 Seat Allotment Process
KEA to announce KCET 2019 seat allotment result in two rounds. One additional round is held if the seats remain vacant after the initial two rounds. Candidates who are allotted seat in the first round will have four choices as given below:
Choice 1: Satisfied with the allotment result and willing to report at the allotted institute for admissions
Choice 2: Satisfied with the allotment result but willing to participate in the next round of counselling
Choice 3: Not satisfied with the allotment result and willing to participate in the next round of counselling
Choice 4: Not satisfied with the allotment result and willing to withdraw seat as I got admission elsewhere

Step 1: Check mock allotment results
Verified candidates can able to check their KCET mock allotment result on the official website. To be able to check the same, candidates will have to submit their KCET application number.
Step 2: Modify/ Change the preferred choices
After the announcement of mock allotment results, candidates will have the opportunity to make changes in their choices for college and course. This will the last opportunity for them to make any changes to the list of preferences. KEA with then declared the final KCET seat allotment results basis the revised list of preferences as submitted by the candidates.
Step 3: Check final KCET seat allotment results
Candidates will be able to check their KCET seat allotment result on the official website. To check the same, candidates will have to login on KEA’s website using their KCET application number.
Step 4: Accept/ Upgrade the seats
Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotment will have the option to cancel and wait for other rounds or delete and withdraw their candidature.
Candidates who accept the KCET seat allotment result will have to report at the allotted institute for the final admission and payment of fee.
Step 5: Report at the allotted institute for admission
After the seat acceptance, candidates will have to download the allotment letter and report at the allotted institutes to complete the admission process.
KCET Cut Off 2019
Along with the seat allotment results, KEA also releases college and course wise KCET cut off list for various participating institutes. Candidates are allocated seat basis the released cutoff, their KCET rank and list of choices. KEA releases KCET cut offs after the announcement of both mock allotments and final seat allotment results.
KEA has released the mock allotment KCET cut off 2019 for BTech however, the final cut off will be released after the release of KCET 2019 seat allotment results. Till then candidates can take a look at the previous year KCET cut offs for reference.
