SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) is conducted by SRM University for admissions in their various SRM campuses. SRMJEEE pattern is similar to the pattern of JEE Main. Hence, no extra efforts are required for students preparing for JEE Main. A good score in SRMJEEE  is important to get admission in SRM Institutes, which are considered among some good engineering institutes in India.

 This year, two new sections English and Aptitude are added. Other sections are Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology.

Yes, you don't have to buy specific books seperately for SRMJEEE preparations. You can refer to your 10+2 NCERT books from classes 10 to 12. However, you can purchase practice papers for solve past year question papers and strengthen your preparations.
