Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai has released Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2023 list of 50 TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFC) list on the official website. All the eligible candidates will be generated an e-call letter on the official website which contains the date, time, and address of the TFC for Certificate Verification. After certificate verification at TFCs, the authority will release TNEA 2023 rank list. Candidates who are willing to appear for TNEA Counselling can fill out and submit the TNEA 2023 application form from May 5 to June 4. For the convenience of candidates, TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFC) have been established in selected cities. Candidates can use the facilities available in TFCs. While filling out the application form for TNEA 2023 candidates had to select TNEA Facilitation Centres for Certificate Verification.

- HSC First year (+1) Marksheet
- HSC Second year (+2) / Equivalent Mark sheet
- HSC Hall Ticket
- Transfer Certificate
- Permanent Community Certificate for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM (either Permanent card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate)
- Nativity Certificate (only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) (if applicable)
- Income certificate (if applicable)
- First Graduate Certificate (only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) and First Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)
- Srilankan Tamil Refugee certificate (if applicable)
- Candidates who have applied for special reservation – i) Relevant certificates for Son / Daughter of Ex-servicemen with Parent’s discharge certificate and ID card (ii) Differently abled persons should bring Medical Certificate obtained from Medical Board (Consists of 3 Doctors)

A merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths, Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50 and Chemistry – 50). The final TNEA rank list is prepared based on the merit list with a tiebreak resolution.

Candidates have to enter their email address and password on the TNEA login window. The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Tamil Nadu releases TNEA application form on the official website. To apply for TNEA admissions, candidates have to pass their qualifying examination I. e. 10+2 or intermediate and meet the eligibility requirements set by the authority. Candidates who have successfully registered for admission will be allotted a random number. To participate in the TNEA 2025 counselling process, candidates have to submit the TNEA application form 2025 within the prescribed timelines and pay the required fees.

TNEA stands for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu conducts TNEA every year. It is an online counselling window. All Indian National candidates who wish to take admission to Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges, University Departments and Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University and for the seats surrendered by Self-Financing Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu have to apply for TNEA counselling.
TNEA counselling is a Unified Single Window Admission System for Indian Nationals only. The courses offered via this online counselling are BE/BTech and BE (sandwich) courses. TNEA counselling is conducted online in 4 rounds as per the schedule. Candidates need to participate in corresponding rounds based on their rank.

After successful login, candidates have to find the "Open Provisional Allotment" button, now click on that.
The allotment gets generated. Usually, it takes a few seconds to a minute, once it's ready there will be a "Download Now" link, click that to download the allotment.
TNEA 2026 Random Number will be out in June 2026. Registered candidates have to sign in by entering login Id/email Id and password to view their unique random number allotted by the authority. The conducting body also informs all the registered candidates about the assigned random number of TNEA 2026 through SMS. The random number will be a 10 digit number that will be allotted to the candidates randomly. Candidates have to verify their documents at TFCs as per their assigned TNEA random number.

- Navigate to the candidate login page
- On the login page, enter your email ID/login ID, password, and captcha code
- The TNEA random number will be displayed on the screen
- View your random number and save it for future references.
