KIITEE Exam Date 2026 - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has announced the KIITEE 2026 exam dates at kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The authority will conduct the KIITEE exam in three separate phases. The KIITEE exam will take place from April 16 to 20, for phase 1. From June 4 to 8, for phase 2 and from July 5 to 7, for phase 3.

The last date for KIITEE registration 2026 phase 1 is April 8, 2026. The last date to apply for Phase 2 is May 30, 2026, whereas Phase 3 candidates have to apply by July 1, 2026. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology released the KIITEE 2026 application form on November 10, 2025 at kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The application process involves registration, form-filling and uploading of documents to appear for the exam. There is no application fee to fill out the KIITEE application form 2026. However, students must apply before the last date. The KIITEE application form last date for phase 1 is April 8, 2026. Candidates can apply for session 2 by May 30, 2026 and for phase 3 by July 1, 2026. Only those who apply before the last date will be able to book their exam slots and download the admit cards. There is no KIITEE application form correction after the submission of the forms. Candidates must fill the complete form carefully. The details given in the application form will be used at every stage, including the result and scorecard.

KIITEE Slot Booking Date 2026

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will conduct the KIITEE 2026 slot booking online for each phase separately. Candidates have to complete the KIITEE slot booking to download their admit cards. To book a slot for the KIITEE exam, applicants have to use their application number and date of birth. At the time of slot booking, applicants must select the preferred exam date, slot, and exam centre. Any candidate who fails to complete the KIITEE slot booking before the last date will be allotted slots randomly.

The KIITEE Engineering (BTech) question paper comprises three sections, namely- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section carries a total of 40 questions, i.e, Physics - 40 questions, Mathematics - 40 questions, and Chemistry - 40 questions. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be rewarded. A negative marking of one mark is deducted for an incorrect answer. The total marks allotted for the KIITEE BTech question paper is 480 marks.

KIITEE Admit Card 2026 Date

Candidates who complete the registration and slot booking will be able to download the KIITEE 2026 admit card. Students will be able to download their admit cards immediately after the slot booking. To access their KIITEE admit card, candidates have to log in to the candidate login portal at kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The admit card will have the exam date and time selected by the applicant. Candidates have to present the KIITEE admit card 2026 and a valid photo ID card while appearing at the exam centre. No applicant will be able to appear in the exam without a hall ticket.

Candidates who appear for the test will be able to check their KIITEE result online on the official website, kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The authorities will not send hard copy of the result to any candidate individually. Students require their application number and date of birth to check the KIITEE result 2026. After successful login, candidates can download their result, which will be available as a rank card. It will mention the candidate’s name, roll number, rank obtained and qualifying status. The KIITEE 2026 results will be released phase-wise. Candidates must check the result corresponding to the phase in which they appeared. In case of any errors regarding the details on the rank card, students must contact the authorities immediately for corrections.

Q:   What is the minimum qualifying mark for KIITEE?

The qualifying marks for the KIITEE are different for each stream or discipline. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying mark will be eligible for further admission. 

  • For BTech programmes of four years duration, the applicant must have passed 10+2 in 2024 or 2025 or must be appearing in the final year examination. The minimum qualifying mark for BTech admission is 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. 

  • BTech and MTech Biotechnology's minimum qualifying mark is 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. 

  • For MTech courses, B.E or BTech or any equivalent specialisation in a relevant engineering and technology discipline with a first-class or equivalent CGPA or first-class MCA/first-class MSc are required.

Q:   How are the KIITEE ranks assigned?
A: 

KIITEE ranks are assigned based on the total score in the exam, with a separate merit list generated for each course (like B.Tech, Law, etc.) by ranking candidates from the highest to the lowest score.

KIITEE Counselling Date

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology conducts the KIITEE counselling process to provide admission to all the qualified candidates. The KIITEE 2026 counselling includes steps such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment. The authority will release the KIITEE counselling dates after the announcement of results. Selected candidates will be able to check the KIITEE seat allotment results on the website, kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The authority also conducts the KIITEE counselling on the basis of JEE Mains. Students will have to register for the same separately.

Q:   What is the counselling fee for KIITEE 2026?
A: 

The KIITEE counselling fee is required to be paid at the time of admission. Candidates can pay the amount as a Demand Draft of Rs. 75,000/- which includes the Counselling Registration fees of Rs.10,000 (Non Refundable) in favor of KIIT, Payable at Bhubaneswar. Balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.

Q:   Does KIIT refund the counselling fee?
A: 

As per the KIITEE refund rules on the website,

  • The total fees will be refunded, excluding the counselling registration fees of Rs.10,000/-, anytime after admission, but before reporting.
  • No refund will be allowed after the commencement of the course.
  • In all cases where the student has been admitted to the course after the commencement of classes through the waiting list or otherwise, their case will be considered as after the commencement of the course.
  • In case of Foreign student candidates, the refund will be made in accordance with Foreign Exchange Regulations.

Refund will be made only after the candidate has surrendered the ID card, Original Fee Receipt, Allotment letter, Fee estimate letter and the dues clearance certificate along with the hard copy of the refund application form generated after applying online.

Yes, KIITEE is complulsory for KIIT School of Public Health MPH admission. The college offers the programme at the PG level and selects students based on KIITEE score. Students also have to appear for counselling rounds to get selected.

The KIITEE 2026 exam will be held for 480 marks. The exam will have 120 questions for B.Tech, and each question will be worth 4 marks. Students have to be careful as there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
