Yes, candidates can apply for multiple courses though single KIITEE 2026 application form. Applicants have to specify all the courses they are interested in.

Candidates can submit the KIITEE registration in online mode only. The last date to submit the phase 1 application form for KIITEE is April 8, 2026. Candidates can submit the KIITEE application form by

• Providing the details, such as personal, exam, and educational qualifications

• Uploading the required documents and submitting the KIITEE application form

KIITEE sample papers are often based on the trends of the previous years and expected question formats. They familarise you with the exam structure, types of questions, and difficulty level of the KIITEE question paper. 

The KIITEE Engineering (BTech) question paper comprises three sections, namely- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section carries a total of 40 questions, i.e, Physics - 40 questions, Mathematics - 40 questions, and Chemistry - 40 questions. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be rewarded. A negative marking of one mark is deducted for an incorrect answer. The total marks allotted for the KIITEE BTech question paper is 480 marks.

Yes. Candidates can choose their preferred KIITEE exam date through the slot booking facility.

The qualifying marks for the KIITEE are different for each stream or discipline. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying mark will be eligible for further admission. 

• For BTech programmes of four years duration, the applicant must have passed 10+2 in 2024 or 2025 or must be appearing in the final year examination. The minimum qualifying mark for BTech admission is 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. 

• BTech and MTech Biotechnology's minimum qualifying mark is 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. 

• For MTech courses, B.E or BTech or any equivalent specialisation in a relevant engineering and technology discipline with a first-class or equivalent CGPA or first-class MCA/first-class MSc are required.

KIITEE ranks are assigned based on the total score in the exam, with a separate merit list generated for each course (like B.Tech, Law, etc.) by ranking candidates from the highest to the lowest score.

The KIITEE counselling fee is required to be paid at the time of admission. Candidates can pay the amount as a Demand Draft of Rs. 75,000/- which includes the Counselling Registration fees of Rs.10,000 (Non Refundable) in favor of KIIT, Payable at Bhubaneswar. Balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.

As per the KIITEE refund rules on the website,

• The total fees will be refunded, excluding the counselling registration fees of Rs.10,000/-, anytime after admission, but before reporting.
• No refund will be allowed after the commencement of the course.
• In all cases where the student has been admitted to the course after the commencement of classes through the waiting list or otherwise, their case will be considered as after the commencement of the course.
• In case of Foreign student candidates, the refund will be made in accordance with Foreign Exchange Regulations.

Refund will be made only after the candidate has surrendered the ID card, Original Fee Receipt, Allotment letter, Fee estimate letter and the dues clearance certificate along with the hard copy of the refund application form generated after applying online.
