SBI PO 2026: State Bank of India conducted the SBI PO 2026 prelims exam on August 1 and 2 in four shifts. The prelims exam analysis is also provided below of all the shifts based on the feedback received from the students. The SBI PO 2026 prelims admit card was released on July 22 on the official portal at sbi.bank.in. The SBI PO notification 2026 was announced on June 18. The notification is released at sbi.bank.in in PDF form. It comprises the details related to the exam. SBI PO application form was available along with the notification. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years. The educational qualification prescribed for the exam is Graduation. The last date to apply was July 8, 2026. Closure for editing application details date was July 8 and last date of printing application was July 23.

The online fee payment can be done from June 18 to July 8. Any graduate candidate can apply for the SBI PO exam. Mains exam is expected to be held in September and Psychometric Test, Group Exercises & Interview in October/November 2026. SBI PO dates are mentioned in the notification. As per the feedback received from the students, Shift 2 was Moderate in overall difficulty. Quantitative section was easy as compared to the reasoning section, questions on age, missing number series, profit and loss and mixture were also asked.

According to the response of the students, around 25 questions in the Reasoning were asked from the puzzle part, few questions from blood relation topic, number based topic, month based. No questions were asked from syllogism, inequalities, etc.

Shift 1

SBI PO 2026 Admit Card Released

The call letter was released online separately for different stages of selection process. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials. They need to carry the printed copies of their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. The hard copy of the SBI PO hall ticket is not sent to candidates by post.

SBI PO 2026 Notification OUT

What's new in the SBI PO 2026 Notification?

• Annual CTC revised from INR 20.43 Lakhs to INR 21.97 Lakhs
• The descriptive pattern changed.
• Number of chances increased (UR-6, OBC/PED-9)

• The authority added four new exam centres

SBI PO 2026 Application Form Released

SBI PO registration form was made available online only. Candidates meeting the eligibility can fill the SBI PO online form. The application fee can be paid online only, which is INR 750 for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment. Total marks allotted to the test are 100. The mains exam carries both objective and descriptive tests. This stage carries 250 marks. The Psychometric test is qualifying in nature. SBI PO 2026 cut off will be released along with the scorecard. The cut off is released state-wise for different categories. There is no sectional SBI PO cut off. Candidates need to secure the desired cut off to qualify the exam.

SBI PO Salary

SBI PO in hand salary ranges between INR 52,000 to 55,000 per month. SBI PO basic salary is INR 41,960. The Gross compensation given to candidates is between INR 8.20 to 13.08 lakhs (maximum) per annum. They are also given various allowances.
