SSC Recruitment 2025: The Staff Selection Commission is carrying out various recruitment drives as of now, including the SSC CGL 2025, SSC CHSL 2025, SSC MTS 2025, SSC JE 2025 and SSC GD Constable 2025. The SSC GD 2025 exam was held from February 4 to 25, 2025. The SSC CGL 2025 exam dates will be announced soon. The SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 1 exam will be held in October 2025The SSC MTS 2025 notification and application were released on June 26, 2025.

Every year, the Commission shortlists thousands of candidates for recruitment in different ministries/ departments/ organisations of the Government of India. The commission recruits candidates through the various SSC exams conducted by it such as:

The basic SSC selection process includes the release of notification, conduct of the Computer-Based Exam (CBE), Typing Test/ Skill Test/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Medical Standard Test/ Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and document verification. The SSC recruitment process sometimes engages the other specialised and designated authority to conduct some stages of the exam. For instance, the SSC GD PST/ PET exam is conducted by the CRPF.

Sub Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF)

The grade pay of SI in BSF is INR 4200. In-hand salary ranges between INR 35400 to INR 112400.

Sub Inspector in Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB)

The job profile of SSB is border guarding and armed defense to Intelligence Bureau and other topmost authorities in India. Grade pay is INR 4200. Inhand salary ranges from INR 35400 to INR 112400. The promotion opportunities are similar to that of BSF.

Sub Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)

The job profile of CISF personnel contains guarding our PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings). The grade pay of CISF personnel ranges between INR 2400 to INR 4200. On Adding all other bonuses and allowances the in-hand salary ranges between INR 20,200 to INR 34,800 regarding the rankings.

Sub Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)

They are determined to maintain law and order in the country. The grade pay is INR 4200 and after adding all other allowances, the in-hand salary ranges between INR 20,200 to INR 80,000.

Sub Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
