Good for the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: the maximum package offered to the students was 7 lakh and the minimum one was 3 LPA. 60% students got placed that year and for my senior batch, that percentage was 70. the internship scenario is average for the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is good as it is located in north campus , it catches much crowd. The facilities were good. we need to maintain that decorurm and the facilities were good as it has a big sports ground and medical facilities.
Faculty: Faculty of my college was very good. I am from physiology background , so there were really good teachers , who teaches this subjects in a very efficient manner. they have provided really good insights about the subjects and the faculty was really very helpful.

Q:   How is the assessment conducted in B.A programme at Maharaja Agrasen College?
A:
The BA programme at Maharaja Agrasen College, therefore, follows the semester system of evaluation. This splits the academic year into two sessions, thus enabling regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations. It would therefore enable the students to get feedback at the right time. The type of assessment may include written tests, presentations, group projects, or practical examinations, depending on course requirements. The model of continuous evaluation is followed at this college, and the marks are partly for internal assessments, which are continuous in nature throughout the semester. The terminal semester examinations at the end of every term shall cover the entire syllabi. This all-inclusive assessment will help monitor the progress of students and point out areas that need remediation.

Q:   How hard is it to get admission in Delhi University for an average student?
    A:

The admission process for Delhi University (DU) is extremely competitive, especially for the well known and popular courses and colleges. However, the difficulty level of admission varies depending on the programme a student wishes to get into. Some of the key parameters that define how difficult can be for a student to get into a good DU college with good course:

    • Scores in CUET/ Class 12
    • Category
    • Selection of College + Course combination in the CSAS registration process

Up until 2021, only top scorers of Class 12 were able to get into Hindu, Hansraj, Miranada, SRCC, LSR and other reputed colleges for top courses such as BA (Hons) in Economics/ English/ Political Science, BSc (Hons) Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics and BCom (Hons) courses. However, the introduction of CUET has changed the game. Now, even if a student could not do well in Class 12 has a chance of getting into the cream colleges with a good score in CUET.

However, if the dream is just to study in a reputed DU college, there is a basic hack that can be followed by anyone and everyone. All the top colleges of DU offer short-duration certificate courses in Languages and other interest areas. Those who are not able to get into DU can witness the buzz of being a DU student by pursuing these courses. For details on the same, students are advised to visit the official website of the DU affiliated colleges.

Q:   Can I get admission at DU in a BSc course without CUET?
    A:

No, Delhi University offers admission to the BSc programmes at its colleges based on CUET score only. There is no provision for direct admissions. Hence, aspirants must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted in different phases. Eligible students can apply on NTA website to take the test. Students seeking admission to DU colleges should select DU college plus preferred course at the time of registration.

After CUET result declaration, aspirants are required to register on DU CSAS portal. The course and college allotment process is done based on the preferences submitted by the students during the form filling. After final selections, students can pay the admission fee to confirm admission.
