The 22nd edition of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) will be conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The exam will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm. The AIBE Exam will be MCQ-based. The Lawyers appearing in the AIBE 22 (XXII) exam will receive the Certificate of Practice (COP) only if they clear it.

The AIBE Exam is no longer conducted in open-book format. Candidates will be allowed to carry only bare acts without notes.

The AIBE Exam will be held for three hours and thirty minutes. Candidates must note that there is no negative marking in the exam. 

Q:   What is AIBE Exam Pattern?
A: 

The AIBE was conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The exam was held for three hours thirty minutes. There were 100 MCQs. Candidates must note that the question paper was from 19 subjects and there were no negative marking.

AIBE Exam difficulty level is generally moderate. However, it totally depends on the individual's preparation. Candidates must prepare well for the exam to clear it in first go. Candidates must check the pattern before starting preparation for AIBE Exam.

Q:   Is there negative marking in AIBE?
A: 

No, there is no negative marking in the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).  For each correct answer, one marks will be given. But for wrong or unattempted question no marks will be deducted.

Q:   What if I'm not able to download the AIBE hall ticket?
A: 

Candidates will have to carry their AIBE hall ticket to the test centres. In case they are not able to download the admit card, try switching between the browsers. You can also try to access the admit card after some time.

The certificate of practice (COP) can be downloaded from AIBE portal. Candidates who qualified in the AIBE-19 exam can download their COP from AIBE portal by logging in with enrollment details.
