AILET First Merit List 2026: BA LLB & LLM Merit List PDF, Category-wise Ranks & Marks

AILET Merit Lists for BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses mentioning roll number, ranks, and marks of shortlisted candidates will be released at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. NLU Delhi has released the first merit list for the LLM course for students belonging to the Foreign Nationals & OCI/PIO Category. Candidates whose names appear in the provisional merit list for LLM (One year) program will have to submit the fee on or before June 14, 2025, failure to which will cancel their admission. However, the first provisional merit list for AILET 2025 BA LLB Foreign Nationals & OCI/PIO Category was published on June 06, 2025. The last date to submit the balance amount is June 10, 2025; failure to which will result in the cancellation of admission of a candidate.

National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi), will publish separate merit lists for UG and PG law courses for AILET 2026. These merit lists will be released tentatively in fourth week of December 2025 on the official AILET 2026 website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, and will be accessible on this page. The AILET exam for the 2026-27 academic session will be conducted for admissions to BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD programs. Consequently, NLU Delhi will release the AILET first merit list and second merit of AILET 2026. In case, the vacancies arise, AILET third merit list and AILET fourth merit lists will also be released for all these courses.

Candidates will also be able to download their provisional seat allotment letter from their login account for AILET 2026. The merit list is provisional and mention the category-wise ranks, marks, and roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. The seat allotment will be done as per the seat reservation criteria.

If the candidates who have been shortlisted for admission do not pay the admission and course fee before the last date, then his/her allotted seat will be transferred to the next eligible candidate. Check here the category-wise AILET 2026 merit list as released by the exam authority.

As per the reservation criteria, the following allotment has been done for 3 seats of General-PWD category:

Candidates who have been shortlisted for the provisional seat allotment have to pay the admission fees as under:

Candidates opting for hostel facility have to pay INR 69,000 along with the admission fee mentioned above. No concession or reservation in hostel allotment will be considered as it is done based on several other factors. NLU Delhi will also release list of waiting candidates for the above categories, to consider them when a candidate does not secure the allotted seat in any category.
