Abhinav Somani topped the AILET 2023 with 92 marks. Followed by Shubham Thakare (91.25 marks) and Deepal Singh (90.75 marks). These young individuals represent the pinnacle of AILET preparation, showcasing exceptional intellect, dedication, and meticulous planning. Joining them in the ranks of toppers were Arushi Singh (88.5 marks), Ayush Sharma (88.25 marks), and Ananya Gupta (88 marks).

AILET used to be a very tough entrance exam before 2023 due to its short duration of 90 minutes. However, NLU Delhi increased the duration of the exam from 90 minutes to 120 minutes after the AILET 2024 exam. The extended duration made it slightly easier for candidates to solve 150 questions in 120 minutes for the AILET UG exam. As a result, the AILET difficulty level has decreased over time with the increase in exam duration.
NLU Delhi also removed the descriptive section from the AILET LLM exam in 2023. Now, only objective questions are included in the AILET PG or LLM exam. The removal of the descriptive section has further reduced the difficulty level of the AILET PG exam over time.
