Even though NLU Delhi is a National Law University but it is not a part of the Consortium of NLUs. All the NLUs in India have been granted the status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). To crack the AILET exam, candidates must target to achieve rank between 50-60, which means score above 75 will help you land at the NLU Delhi. Many students feel the AILET exam is a bit tougher than CLAT because it has fewer seats and high competition. The AILET syllabus focuses more on reasoning and legal aptitude. Both tests need good preparation, but AILET 2027 usually has a higher cutoff for AILET colleges under NLU Delhi.

AILET admit card release date will be announced soon.

The AILET admit card mentioned the examination hall number, the name of the candidate, course name applied for, and general guidelines. Candidates must ensure to have the error free details in the hall ticket. Do not forget to carry an identity proof for verification purpose.

The NLU Delhi do not send anyone's admit card through post. On exam day, the candidate must without fail carry with them the admit card and a valid photo ID proof. 

Candidates should download the admit card in colour print (if black and white, then it should mention test centre details and candidates photograph clearly). Also, candidates should carry extra printouts of the admit card on exam day to be on a safer side in case they misplace it. 

Those preparing for AILET Exam must add solving the sample papers as part of their preparation journey. This will help them to not only improve their speed but also get use to of the pattern.

With the help of previous year exam analysis, candidates looking to sit for the exam this year will be able to ascertain the type of questions asked in the exam and what is the difficulty level for each section of the exam. In the last year's AILET question paper for UG course, GK questions were prominently related to static GK. The number of current affairs-related questions was lower. Questions were mainly related to law field and Economics. These questions were related to topics, such as Supreme Court of India, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). 
A large number of questions in the section were based on topics related to international relations, such as international alliances, agreements and G20 Summit. 

Other main topics covered in the GK section of the previous year's AILET question paper were awards, sports, geography of India and books and authors.

The AILET admission process after the results are declared is as mentioned below: 

• AILET counselling: The number of candidates invited for counseling will be FIVE times the number of seats available in each category. The consortium will upload the list of eligible candidates on its website before the start of counseling registration.
• AILET cutoff: The NLU Delhi will release the AILET cutoff on its official website at the time of seat allotment. The cutoff is the minimum marks/rank that aspirants need to secure in order to get admission to a 5-year LLB or one-year LLB program.

The result for AILET exam is released in December. Candidates can check their scorecards using their login details. 

AILET Scorecard have details on marks, merit rank and qualifying marks. 

Students from any stream can apply for the AILET exam, but many students choose Arts or Humanities because subjects like English and Current Affairs help in the AILET syllabus. 

The candidates will be able to download the notification for the AILET exam from the NLU Delhi website. This document provides the exam registration schedule and eligibility criteria. Students should read it thoroughly to know the fees, last date of application, exam day, etc.  

In the AILET GK & Current Affairs section, there are 30 questions are asked. Each question is of 1 mark. So, total marks can be scored from this section.

Candidates will be able to contact the AILET exam authority through the phone. The contact number is 011-40787555. There is no official email to connect with the exam authority on the AILET exam website. Thus, candidates need to use this phone number only for the exam-related queries.

• Difficulty level of exam
• Number of candidates appeared
• Total seats available for admission
• Category of candidates

No, AILET Entrance Exam cutoff is released separately for the various categories. For instance, the cut-off is available for categories like Open, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PH categories. Note that open category candidates will not be considered for admission under reserved category seats. However, candidates belonging to reserved category will be considered for admission under both open and the reserved category they belong to. To be considered for admission under reserved category, the candidate must furnish the required category certificates. However, any candidate who is found using counterfeit documents can be disqualified at any stage of the admission process.

The invite list for AILET has the following details-

• The invite list is released category-wise.
• It included the application number, roll number, total marks, and All India Ranks of candidates shortlisted for counselling.
• It also included the seat matrix and reservation for AILET admission process.
• The counselling schedule.
• The step-wise counselling process.

The expected AILET score for this rank range is likely between 119 and 121 marks.

The AILET counselling process includes the following steps:

• Release of AILET invite list 
• Registration for counseling by candidates inlcuded in the list
• Release of provisional admission list
• Pay admission fee 

The AILET counselling fee of INR 30,000 (INR for reserved category candidates) will be refunded only to candidates who have successfully registered for the counselling and paid the fee but who could not find a place in the merit list. The refund will be initiated by NLU Delhi to the source on completion of the admission process, whichever is earlier. 

The seat allotment process in AILET counselling is done based on the candidate's rank and scores.

NLU Delhi provides admission to its BA LLB and LLM programme based on the AILET scores. However, all other NLUs in the country accept CLAT scores for providing admission to their courses. Candidates can sit for both the entrance exams to expand their scope of admission.

NLU Delhi releases the merit list based on seats and vacancies at the NLU Delhi official website. 

NLU Delhi will invite Foreign Nationals & OCI/PIO Category students for AILET counselling for admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB program through separate notification.
