AILET Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for undergraduate or postgraduate courses will have to fulfill the common eligibility criteria for the AILET exam as under:
- Candidates should have obtained the minimum qualifying marks and relevant certificate for the courses.
- If candidates are applying under a reserved category, then they should have a certificate issued by the competent authority stating the same.
- If candidates belong to the PwD category then a medical certificate issued by a medical authority stating 40 per cent or more disability should be available to be eligible under PwD category.

Step 5: Pay the application fee
In the final step towards completing the application process, candidates have to do AILET Application Form 2026 Fee Payment as mentioned below:
Online mode - Candidates can pay the application fee using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking option through online payment gateway. To pay the application fee, candidates have to select the mode of payment as 'Online Payment Gateway' and fill in the details of the card or net banking and proceed to pay.
Offline mode - If candidates want to pay the application fee in offline mode then they have to select 'Cash Deposit at post office' as the mode of payment. Then they have to select their city, the nearest branch and a challan will be generated. Download it and pay the fee in cash at the selected branch within 48 hours of generating the challan. Once the fee has been paid, the updated status will reflect on the applicant's account within 72 hours.
Step 6: Application 2026 Form Submission
Once the application fee has been paid and the status for it is reflected in the applicant account, candidates have to cross-check the details entered on the form and submit it online only. Also, take printouts of the submitted application form for future reference.
