CAT 2025 toppers
CAT 2025 toppers list has been released at IIMCAT today. According to the announcement made by IIM Kozhikode, 12 candidates have scored 100 percentile in CAT 2025. About 26 candidates have scored 99.99 percentile and same number of candidates have scored 99.98 perncentile. Among 99.99 percentilers in CAT 2025, four are females.
CAT 2025 exam was held on November 30, 2025 and this year, and 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for it. The number of test takers has dipped this year by nearly 35000. Last year, the total number of CAT test takers was 2.93 lakh. CAT 2025 result cum scorecard is available for download at iimcat.ac.in website. We have shared the list of CAT 2025 toppers below. The CAT cut offs for IIM Bangalore hovers between 97-100 percentile. The qualifying CAT cut off required for being eligible for IIM Bangalore's Written Ability test (What) and Personal Interview PI is 85 percentile for General category students, whereas for SC candidates, it is 70 percentile. CAT cut offs do not flutuate much. For the past few years, the CAT exam cut offs for IIMs or other top colleges have not seen much change. If there is any change at all, it is in decimals. However, that decimal point too can make or mar admission chances. CAT cut offs for 2026 admission will largely remain the same as the CAT 2025 exam difficulty level was same as last year and number of takers dipped from last year.
Minimum qualifying cut off for IIM Ahmedabad is 95 percentile whereas for IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta, it is 85. However final cut offs for these three top IIMs are between 99 to 100 percentile.
Yes, it is possible to score 99.99 percentile in CAT in first attempt. Many toppers of previous years' are such candidates. One must study in a focussed manner and do a lot of mock test practice. Exam day strategy is also crucial for better performance.

MET Center for Insurance Training, Research & Development considers CAT scores for admission to PGPMBA programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with any other accepted entrance exam scores can also get admission provided they also meet the eligibility.
