CMAT 2019 application process is all set to begin from October 22, 2018. Interested aspirants can apply online to appear in this computer based management aptitude for admission into one of about 1500 B-schools across India.

Admission process through CMAT includes the online test and Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the institutes individually. There is no Counselling for CMAT, neither a common admission process. Candidates who qualify this exam can apply for admission to the institute of their choice based on the marks and ranks secured.

In CMAT 2019 too, the admission process will remain the same. The CMAT 2019 exam will be held on January 27, 2019. CMAT 2019 results are expected in the first week of February, 2019. Last date to submit CMAT 2019 application form is December 15, 2018. CMAT 2019 admit cards will be issued in the first week of January, 2019.

Each management institute will conduct their own Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI). The schedules will be announced individually by each institute, hence the candidates must keep a check on the release of admission information bulletin of their preferred institute.

Final selection will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in CMAT 2019, GD/PI, Academics and other professional and ECA aspects.

Documents to carry for CMAT 2019 GD/PI:

  • CMAT 2019 scorecard
  • Class 10 certificate
  • Class 12 certificate
  • Graduation certificate
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Valid photo ID issued by the Government of India
  • Address proof
  • Caste/PWD certificate (if applicable)
  • ECA certificates or proof of recognition
  • Transfer certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration certificate (if applicable)

Three months may not be enough for CMAT preparation, if you're doing it from scratch. However, if you are preparing for CAT, XAT, NMAT, you can prepare for CMAT in 3 months as you have clear understanding of the syllabus already and you will need exam specific practice only.
