CAT 2025 Form Correction - The registration process for CAT 2025 exam started on August 1, 2025 and ended on September 20. 2025. Lakhs of MBA aspirants have filled the CAT 2025 application form which is a gateway to the top B-Schools in India and over 1300 other MBA colleges. After the form application correction window closes, no request for changes in the CAT application form will be accepted. The CAT exam centre allotment will be based on final test city selection made during the form correction. To avoid any error while filling up the CAT exam registration cum application form, you must first of all, keep all the information ready with you. Keep your marksheets and documents by your side for cross checking the information to be filled. Also keep a scanned copy of your recent passport sized photo and your signature. The photo should be of dimension 1200 pixels x 1200 pixels and in JPEG or JPG format. The file size should be not more than 80 KB. The dimensions of your signature should be 80mm X 35mm and the format should be JPEG or JPG format.The image should be clear with a minimum resolution of 150px/inch.

No, the candidates do not have to pay any fee for CAT form correction. The facility is provided to candidates free of cost. However, if they have made an error in a field that will not be available for editing during form correction, then they will have to fill a fresh form before the submission deadline and pay the CAT application fee again. So, candidates must review the CAT application form before submitting to check whether they have filled all the information correctly or not. Once submitted, the form will not be editable but of photo, signature and test city.
The CAT form correction window usually opens for 2-3 days. It opens a day after the last date of CAT registration. For example, if the CAT registration 2025 will end on September 13, the form correction window will open on September 14 and close on September 17, 2025. If the CAT registration window is extended by a week, then th form correction window will open thereafter.
Only registered candidates, who shall have paid the application fee will be able to access their CAT 2025 application forms to make changes. CAT form correction is a one-time activity so candidates must not miss the chance of updating their photo, signature and changing test city choices if required.
Candidates need the following documents while filling the CAT application form:
IIM shortlist of top IIMs is released in the first week of January soon after CAT result declaration. All IIMs release their shortlist one by one after that in the same month. By the end of January, all 21 IIMs release their MBA/PGP shortlist. The WAT-PI shortlists for admission is released individually by the institutes but for the CAP participating IIMs. For them, the CAP conducting IIM releases the PI shortlist form and guidelines on behalf of rest of them.
