MAT PBT exam day today

MAT 2023 exam in being held today in PBT mode. The exam is being conducted at various cities across India. The exam will be held in pen and paper mode which means candidates will have to fill OMR sheets to record their answers. The duration of MAT exam is 2.5 hours in which candidates have to attempt 200 questions divided equally in five sections.

The MAT question paper is usually of easy to moderate difficulty level. Candidates can improve their score by re-appearing in the exam in any session or exam phase of their choice.

No, having good scores in MAT entrance test is not enough. AIM Pune admission is entrance-based. The accepted entrance exams are MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ ATMA entrance test. The final shortlisting is done on the basis of Written Ability Test/ Group Discussion followed by personal interview.

MAT mock test practice is essential but not enough. You will need to go through the MAT syllabus and understand the fundamentals of all topics, only then you'll be able to crack questions in mock test.

It is not compulsory to attempt MAT GK section as the score in not considered for percentile calculation but it is not recommended to skip it all together as it may dent your chances in colleges that look at candidates' sectional scores too.
