Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP 2019 will be held on December 15 while the exam result is expected to be released on January 10, 2020.

The Computer-based Test (CBT) is conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University for the intake of management programmes for their 16 branches. One of the most important things a student must know of is that there will be 1/4th negative marking for every incorrect answer you submit while there will be zero negative markings for all the unattempted answers.

Here are some important tips that every student appearing for the exam must follow:

  • Don’t pick up any new topics and also don’t build any last minutes strategies that might not fit your nature and acumen.
  • Usually, take one mock test a day until before the day of the
  • Take sufficient rest before the exam.
  • Most importantly eat healthy before and also on the day of the exam.
  • Work more on your strengths rather than on your weak areas.
  • The more you practice and analyse the mock paper questions, you will realize that the questions which you made a mistake in, you could have attempted them correctly. Thereby, you should work on those questions seriously.
  • On the day of the exam, make sure you attempt first those topics that you are good at with rather than wasting time on the questions for which you don’t know the answer or that is lengthy and time-consuming. Make sure you are taking all the required documents, hall ticket, etc. and reach the venue at least half an hour prior to reporting time so that you don’t get your self into stress.
  • Attempt last five years’ SNAP/XAT papers and also SNAP/XAT mock test is helpful.
  • Sit at the same place and the same timing of the SNAP/XAT exam slot during your mock tests.
  • Remember one thing that the secret to crack is “Speed & Accuracy”.

Clearing SNAP exam is not the only requirement for admission to SIU MBA admission. Candidates have to also clear the Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) for selection.

The question papers of all SNAP sessions are not same. In every attempt and slot, candidates get a different set of questions. Sectional break up and marking scheme are the same for all though.

Yes, six months are enough to prepare for SNAP exam. Divide six months into two parts; first three months for syllabus coverage and last three months for mock test practice and revision.

Coaching certainly helps in exam preparation better. It provides direction, guidance and discipline. So, if you can't do self study, you should opt for coaching.
