Now when we are aware of the exam pattern and the syllabus then let us discuss about the preparation:

Exam Preparation

  • Follow the syllabus – This is the first step towards preparation. Focus and work on every topic, don’t leave or take any topic in the syllabus lightly.
  • Attempt mock tests – Look for the previous year questions online and practice them, along with that go for the mock tests as well. Don’t take the tests lightly, practice them with full concentration.
  • Learn from mistakes – Don’t just attempt the mock tests but also look for the mistakes made by you and make sure not to repeat the mistakes during the next mock attempt nor during the KMAT exam.
  • Polish your strengths – During the time of preparation don’t be overconfident about the topics on which you have a good grasp. Take them seriously and make sure to gain full marks from all those topics.
  • Avoid silly mistakes – All your hard work will be of no use if you will do silly mistakes in the exam. Be very careful while solving the questions and put all your concentration in the exam.
  • Manage your time – While you start preparing and practising make sure to manage your time because according to the exam pattern you have to solve 120 questions within 2 hours. So you will be getting only a minute to attempt a question which demands good time management.
  • Attempt more – This is an outstanding opportunity in case of this exam as there is no negative marking. So try to attempt as many as possible. Be conceptually sound about every topic so that you can at least attempt every question.
  • Maintain your diet – Take a healthy balanced diet. Whether you are preparing from home or away from home, take proper food on time.
  • Manage stress – Along with preparation, indulge yourself into some entertaining activities. Stress during preparation or while attempting the test can affect your score. The only way to give your best is to prepare and proceed with strategy while managing the stress.
  • Take rest – Last but not least, rest is also a very important part of preparation don’t ignore it. Take a good sleep the night before the KMAT test.

I hope the article will help you while preparing for the KMAT. All the best!!!
