Mahatma Gandhi University, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), released the TS ICET results 2025. Candidates who took the exam on June 8 and 9, can visit the official website, icet.tgche.ac.in, to check the TS ICET 2025 results.

TG ICET Toppers List 2025: Mahatma Gandhi University, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), released the TS ICET results 2025. Candidates who took the exam on June 8 and 9, can visit the official website, icet.tgche.ac.in, to check the TS ICET 2025 results. TG ICET results was declared in the press conference held at TGCHE office. Along with the results and rank card, TGCHE published the TS ICET 2025 toppers list. TG ICET 2025 Toppers List

Mahatma Gandhi University released the TS ICET rank cards for all the qualified candidates. Soon after the release of TS ICET results, TS ICET 2025 top rankers list is also released.  The table below mentions the names of the top rank holders along with the TS ICET marks and ranks:

Q:   How to know TSICET exam centre address?
A: 
TSICET exam centre address is mentioned on the admit card. Candidates will know the complete address of the TSICET centre after Kakatiya University issues the hall ticket. Besides the exam centre address, candidates will find the evam date, shift time, and other exam day guidelines on the TSICET hall ticket. Before issuance of the TSICET hall ticket, candidates can only predict the test zone based on preference added while filling the application form. Kakatiya University will not entertain ant requests to know exam centre address before issuance of the hall ticket.
Q:   What are the items that can be carried inside the TSICET exam centre?
A: 

Candidates are not allowed to carry anything inside the TSICET exam centre, but only a few items required during the test. Officials at tha TSICET exam centre will deny entry to the centre until any such prohibited material is found during the frisking process.

Items allowed in the TSICET test centre include: -

  • TGICET hall ticket
  • Transparent water bottle
  • Simple pen Candidates possessing

As per the TS ICET notification, Hyderabad is divided into four test zones for TS ICET exam. While filling the form, candidates can check the TSICET test centre zone wise location to get the centre in particular areas of the state.

Four zones in Hyderabad is divided with the following locations:

Hyderabad (I): Candidates selecting Hyderabad-I as the preferred test city can expect the test centre in any of the following locations:

How to Download TG ICET 2025 Rank Card?

Candidates can download the Telangana ICET rank card by following the steps mentioned below:

1st Step: Visit the official exam website for TGICET 2025, that is icet.tgche.ac.in

2nd Step: Click on the link reading ‘View TS ICET Rank Card’ from the homepage

3rd Step: Enter the login credentials, including registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth.

4th Step: Click the button reading ‘View TS ICET Rank Card’ to check the TS ICET results and download the rank card.

Q:   What is the time for TSICET exam?
A: 

Telangana ICET exam is conducted in multiple shifts divided across two days. One day can have two exam shifts. These two shifts are termed as Forenoon shift (10 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon shift (2:30 PM to 5 PM). TGCHE will allot an exam day and shift based on multiple factors that can include the choice of test city, and timing of the registration.

Candidates find the complete address of the TS ICET exam centre in the hall ticket.

Q:   When will TGCHE conduct Telangana ICET exam?
A: 

TGCHE allocates the responsibility for conducting TS ICET exam to a participating university in Telangana. The conducting body for TG ICET exam can change every year with the release of CET calendar.

TG CET calendar is released for all Common Entrance Test (CET) in Telangana. This CET calendar indicates the exam date for all TG CETs and the conducting universities. TG ICET exam dates 2026 is out. MGU, Nalgonda will conduct TG ICET 2026 exam on May 13 and 14.

Q:   What happens if my computer system faces a technical glitch while taking the computer-based test at TSICET exam centre?
A: 
In case of any technical issues with the computer system, candidates must report the issue to the invigilator immediately. Computer systems in an online exam are connected to a server. Whenever the system hands or shuts down, the timer of the online test will stop and will resume when the candidate accesses the login dashboard again. Candidates will be allotted another system to take the TSICET computer-based test. The test will commence from the time where it got stuck. Therefore, candidates will not lose time in case of a technical issue in the system at the test centre. However, there is very less chance of any fault or issue in the system at TSICET exam centre as the systems go through quality checks before the commencement of the exam.
Q:   Is there a common login portal for all events of TG ICET exam?
A: 

No. TGCHE facilitates a separate login portal for all events of the TG ICET exam including the registration fee payment, application form submission, admit card download, answer key objection, etc. Candidates will have to access the TS ICET login portal using the credentials that were generated in the previous exam event.

Marking Scheme to Calculate TS ICET 2025 Score

TGCHE calculates the score of the TS ICET exam using the specified marking scheme in the notification. TG ICET marking scheme helps in calculation of raw scores. Further a pre-defined formulae is used for calculation of normalised score. The space below mentions the marking scheme to calculate TG ICET raw score:

  • (+) 1 mark for each correct response.
  • No negative marking for incorrect responses or unattempted questions.

TS ICET 2025 Normalisation Process

Mahatma Gandhi University conducted the TS ICET 2025 across four exam shifts. To standardise the difficulty standards in all exam shifts, score normalisation process is used. The normalisation of TG ICET scores helps to nullify any advantage or disadvantage occurring on account of different difficulty level across exam shifts.   • SASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the section of a particular session.
  • GASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all the candidates across all sessions of all sections put together.
  • STA: Average score of the top 0.1 per cent of the test takers in a section of a particular session.
  • GTA: Average mark of the top 0.1 per cent of all the candidates across all the sessions of sections put together.

How is TG ICET 2025 Rank Allotted?

TGCHE holds responsibility for allotment of Telangana ICET ranks to the qualified test takers. MGU Nalgonda, on behalf of TGCHE, considers the normalised scores of the TS ICET qualifiers while allotment of rank. Candidates with a higher overall normalised scores are prioritised during the TS ICET rank allotment process. Candidates passing the TG ICET exam as per the qualifying cutoff will be allotted a rank.

TS ICET Qualifying Cutoff

The space below mentions the TG ICET passing marks to be obtained for rank allotment:

  • UR category candidates must secure a minimum of 25 per cent, i.e. 50 out of 200 marks, to pass the exam
  • Reserved category candidates do not have any minimum qualifying score.

Key Information for Rank Allotment

After normalisation, if a candidate's score drops in negative, the score is considered zero. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for rank allotment even if they score 0.

Unreserved category candidates will get disqualified for rank allotment if their score drops below 25 per cent.

Reserved category candidates with a zero score are ranked based on the age.

TS ICET 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria

There can be cases when two or more candidates secure similar marks in the TG ICET 2025 exam, TGCHE resolves the tie using the following order of preference:

  1. Score in Section A: Candidates with a higher score in Section A of the Telangana ICET exam are given a better rank.

  2. Score in Section B: If the tie still persists, candidates with a higher normalised score in Section B are ranked higher in the TG ICET rank list

  3. Age criterion: If the tie remains even after considering the scores from Section A and B, older candidates are given preference. The age is verified using the SSC certificate.
