TG ICET Toppers List 2025: Mahatma Gandhi University, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), released the TS ICET results 2025. Candidates who took the exam on June 8 and 9, can visit the official website, icet.tgche.ac.in, to check the TS ICET 2025 results. Candidates are not allowed to carry anything inside the TSICET exam centre, but only a few items required during the test. Officials at tha TSICET exam centre will deny entry to the centre until any such prohibited material is found during the frisking process.

Candidates can download the Telangana ICET rank card by following the steps mentioned below:

Telangana ICET exam is conducted in multiple shifts divided across two days. One day can have two exam shifts. These two shifts are termed as Forenoon shift (10 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon shift (2:30 PM to 5 PM). Marking Scheme to Calculate TS ICET 2025 Score
TGCHE calculates the score of the TS ICET exam using the specified marking scheme in the notification. TG ICET marking scheme helps in calculation of raw scores. Further a pre-defined formulae is used for calculation of normalised score. The space below mentions the marking scheme to calculate TG ICET raw score:
- (+) 1 mark for each correct response.
- No negative marking for incorrect responses or unattempted questions.
TS ICET 2025 Normalisation Process
Mahatma Gandhi University conducted the TS ICET 2025 across four exam shifts. To standardise the difficulty standards in all exam shifts, score normalisation process is used. The normalisation of TG ICET scores helps to nullify any advantage or disadvantage occurring on account of different difficulty level across exam shifts. - SASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the section of a particular session.
- GASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all the candidates across all sessions of all sections put together.
- STA: Average score of the top 0.1 per cent of the test takers in a section of a particular session.
- GTA: Average mark of the top 0.1 per cent of all the candidates across all the sessions of sections put together.

How is TG ICET 2025 Rank Allotted?
TGCHE holds responsibility for allotment of Telangana ICET ranks to the qualified test takers. MGU Nalgonda, on behalf of TGCHE, considers the normalised scores of the TS ICET qualifiers while allotment of rank. Candidates with a higher overall normalised scores are prioritised during the TS ICET rank allotment process. Candidates passing the TG ICET exam as per the qualifying cutoff will be allotted a rank.
TS ICET Qualifying Cutoff

- UR category candidates must secure a minimum of 25 per cent, i.e. 50 out of 200 marks, to pass the exam
- Reserved category candidates do not have any minimum qualifying score.
Key Information for Rank Allotment
After normalisation, if a candidate's score drops in negative, the score is considered zero. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for rank allotment even if they score 0.
Unreserved category candidates will get disqualified for rank allotment if their score drops below 25 per cent.
Reserved category candidates with a zero score are ranked based on the age.

TS ICET 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria
There can be cases when two or more candidates secure similar marks in the TG ICET 2025 exam, TGCHE resolves the tie using the following order of preference:

Score in Section A: Candidates with a higher score in Section A of the Telangana ICET exam are given a better rank.

Score in Section B: If the tie still persists, candidates with a higher normalised score in Section B are ranked higher in the TG ICET rank list

Age criterion: If the tie remains even after considering the scores from Section A and B, older candidates are given preference. The age is verified using the SSC certificate.
