TS ICET Toppers List 2023: Kakatiya University, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), released the TS ICET results 2023. Candidates who took the exam on May 26 or 27, can visit the official website, icet.tsche.ac.in, to check the Telangana ICET results. Along with the results and rank card, TSCHE has published the list of top 20 rank holders for TS ICET 2023.

Telangana ICET exam is conducted in multiple shifts divided across two days. One day can have two exam shifts. These two shifts are termed as Forenoon shift (10 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon shift (2:30 PM to 5 PM). TGCHE will allot an exam day and shift based on multiple factors that can include the choice of test city, and timing of the registration.

Currently, BRAOU is not ranked in India. This could be due to low score that it might have got in NIRF ranking. University has currently improved in terms of placements and expects to rank next year. Candidates must follow the steps below to check and download the TS ICET rank card:

TGICET dates are released with the exam notification. TGCHE has conducted the TS ICET 2026 exam. TG ICET 2027 exam is expected to be held in the month of May 2027.
Candidates are not allowed to carry anything inside the TSICET exam centre, but only a few items required during the test. Officials at tha TSICET exam centre will deny entry to the centre until any such prohibited material is found during the frisking process.

Marking Scheme to Calculate TS ICET 2023 Score
TSCHE calculates the score of the TS ICET exam using the specified marking scheme in the notification. TS ICET marking scheme helps in calculation of raw scores. Further a pre-defined formulae is used for calculation of normalised score. The space below mentions the marking scheme to calculate TS ICET raw score:
- (+) 1 mark for each correct response
- No negative marking for incorrect responses
- No negative marking for unattempted questions
- Candidates will be marked for attempted question which may get dropped with the final answer key.

TS ICET 2023 Normalisation Process
Kakatiya University conducted the TS ICET 2023 across four exam shifts. To standardise the difficulty standards in all exam shifts, score normalisation process is used. The normalisation of TS ICET scores helps to nullify any advantage or disadvantage occurring on account of different difficulty level across exam shifts. - SASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the section of a particular session.
- STA: Average score of the top 0.1 per cent of the test takers in a section of a particular session.
- GASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all the candidates across all sessions of all sections put together.
- GTA: Average mark of the top 0.1 per cent of all the candidates across all the sessions of sections put together.

TS ICET 2023 Rank Allotment
TSCHE is responsible for allotment of TS ICET rank to the qualified test takers. Normalised scores of the TS ICET qualifiers are considered while the llotment of rank. Candidates with a higher overall normalised score are prioritised in the rank allotment process. Only the candidates who pass the TS ICET exam are allotted a rank.
TS ICET Qualifying Cutoff

- After normalisation, if a candidate's score drops in negative, the score is considered zero. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for rank allotment even if they score 0.
- Unreserved category candidates will get disqualified for rank allotment if their score drops below 25 per cent.
- Reserved category candidates with a zero score are ranked based on the age.

TS ICET 2023 Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case two or more candidates get an equal score in TS ICET exam, TSCHE resolves the ties by following the below-mentioned chronology:
- Score in Section A of the TS ICET exam is considered. Better score in Section A of TS ICET exam will help candidates while rank allotment.
- If the tie prevails, candidates having a higher normalised score in Section B are considered for a better rank allotment.
- If the tie still persists, TSCHE prioritises older candidates while allotment of ranks. The age will be verified as per the SSC certificate for allotment of TS ICET rank.
What After Release of TS ICET 2023 Results?
Soon after the release of the results, candidates can visit the official website, icet.tsche.ac.in, and download the TS ICET rank card. The rank card of TS ICET 2023 exam will act as a crucial document at the time of the Telangana MBA admission process.
TSCHE will release the counselling details within two to three weeks after the TS ICET result date. Eligible candidates can participate in the TS ICET web counselling at the dedicated counselling portal, i.e. tsicet.nic.in.
Candidates who did not qualify for the TS ICET 2023 counselling can apply for other MBA entrance exams. The registration for several exams, including Karnataka PGCET, NMAT, SNAP, CAT, and CMAT, are yet to start.
