The NEET PG exam is held by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). This exam does not have a fixed syllabus. Most websites say that the syllabus includes all subjects taught in MBBS. This is confusing for students who study at home without coaching. Many students ask one main question. They want to know how many subjects are there in NEET PG?. How many subjects are there in NEET PG 2026?

NEET PG question paper can be divided into three sections. Each of these sections can be further sub-divided into the subjects. The table given below enlists total number of question from each subject in NEET PG 2026.

Coming back to the question, how many subjects are in NEET PG? According to the NEET PG question paper, there are 14 subjects in total. The marks and number of questions are divided among these 14 subjects. But if you look carefully, Section C has 11 subjects. Some small subjects are combined with two main subjects. These are General Medicine and General Surgery. During preparation, students must study each small subject separately. So, while studying for NEET PG, students actually prepare for 19 subjects, not just 14.

No, you cannot appear in regional language in NEET PG exam. According to the NEET PG pattern, the examination is conducted in the English language only. All aspirants must refer to the question papers of previous years for NEET PG 2026 preparation.
