NBE will not release the official NEET PG 2024 question paper and answer key. However, some coaching centres and other experts will release memory-based NEET PG 2024 question paper and answer key solutions right after exam. The exam was held on August 11 in 185 test cities in online mode. NEET PG 2024 result will be declared likely by Aug 25.

Unofficial NEET PG 2024 question paper and answer key have been released. It must be noted these questions are based on memory of exam taking students. The exam was held on August 11 in two shifts amid tight security. NBE conducted the exam in 170 test cities at 416 test centres. The exam timing for shift-1 NEET PG 2024 exam was 9 am to 12: 30 pm while second shift timing was 3: 30 pm to 7 pm. Candidates will be able to download the paper and answer key here.

Right after the exam, candidates have one-point agenda to know their performance and question paper and answer key of NEET PG rightly help them in their endeavor. It must be noted the official question paper and answer key is not released by National Board of Examination (NBE). However, some coaching centres and experts releases memory-based question paper and answer key which helps them to predict the tentative score in NEET PG exam.

NEET PG 2024 question paper will be available here in PDF format for shif-1 and shift-2. NBE doesn’t allow candidates to disclose the content. They have to sign non-disclosure agreement while applying for the exam. “No content of this exam must be shared with friends, acquaintances or third parties including sharing through online means or via social media,” the official brochure says. But candidates don’t need to worry as unofficial NEET PG answer key will be released by coaching institutes. Candidates must note these questions and answer key are based on memory of exam taking students. Experts analyse these questions and prepare the answer key. Candidates are advised to practice previous year question paper as it helps them in better management of time, speed and accuracy.

Q:   Do candidates need to answer every question in NEET PG?
A: 

No, candidates should answer only those questions where they feel confident about the right answer. The reason being there is a provision of negative marking in the NEET PG 2025 exam. Candidates are advised to choose not to answer rather than marking wrong option. Negative score may take a toll on overall score of a candidate. 

Q:   What type of questions are asked in NEET PG?
A: 

Objective questions are asked in NEET PG exam. tpe of the question is multiple choice where one question can have multiple answers. keeping this in mind, candidates have to select best option of correct response. 

Q:   Will marks be deducted for unanswered questions in NEET PG?
A: 

No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions as per existing NEET PG pattern. Such questions will not be taken into account while calculating marks. Students are advised to attempt only those questions where they are confident of right answer. If there is iota of doubt of correct answer, candidates are advised to leave that question. 

Q:   Can I attempt any questions from any section in NEET PG exam?
A: 

No. As per time bound section limit, candidates will have to answer questions or exhausts time of previous section before proceeding for next section in NEET PG exam. Each section has particualar allotted time, i.e 42 minute in NEET PG exam. For an example, supppose a candidate wants to answer questions of B section, he/she can do only when he exahusts allotted 42 minute of section A.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Analysis

NEET PG 2024 exam analysis is available here on the basis of students reactions. The overall difficulty of NEET PG 2024 exam was moderate difficult. The paper was difficult in comparision to last year. Questions were clinical in nature asked from Surgury, Gynaecology and other topics. 160-170 questions were good attempt. Exam analysis includes overall difficulty level of exam, questions from each topic, most difficult subject, expected cut off etc. Candidates who appeared in the exam are asked a series of questions related to variants mentioned above and analysis is prepared.

Q:   I marked two answers for a question in NEET PG. One of the answers is correct. Will I get full marks for this question?
A: 

Candidates can't  mark more than one answer as NEET PG is computer-based exam. Moreover, in the official information brochure, there is no mention of whether candidate will be deducted marks or not for marking two options. NEET PG 2026 exam pattern will be released by National Board of Examinations (NBE). The exam is conducted in computer-based mode. Candidates are provided total 3.5 hours to answer the question paper.

Q:   Does NBE release question paper for NEET PG?
A: 

No. Usullay NBE doesn't release the official question paper for NEET PG exam but for 2025-26 session, it released question ID and answer key. Candidates can download question Id, answer key and response sheet after login to the application page. NBE also released NEET PG 2025 scorecards on August 29, 2025. NEET PG 2025 result was announced on August 19, 2025.

Q:   Is it compulsory to attempt all questions in NEET PG exam?
A: 

No. There is no such compulsion for candidates. Candidates should attempt only those questions where they feel confident of right answer as there is a provision of negative marking too. Due to negative marking, overall score may reduce, affecting ranking of candidate. For every wrong answer, -1 mark is deducted in NEET PG exam.

NEET PG 2024 Answer Key helps candidates to predict tentative score

NEET PG 2024 answer key helps candidates to know their score through marking scheme. It must be noted like question paper, NBE doesn’t release official answer key for NET PG exam. Candidates can calculate the score by counting total number of correct and incorrect questions. As per the marking scheme, candidates will get +4 marks for right response and -1 for wrong response. In order to predict tentative marks, multiply number of right answers with 4 and number of wrong answers with -1. Then subtract total score of wrong answers from total score of right answers.

No, you cannot appear in regional language in NEET PG exam. According to the NEET PG pattern, the examination is conducted in the English language only. All aspirants must refer to the question papers of previous years for NEET PG 2026 preparation.

No, NBE will not send the NEET PG 2026 admit card via post. The admit card will be uploaded online on the official website of NBE, and candidates will have to download it through their registration login credentials.
