Prepare Time Table and Follow it

Discipline is the key if you plan to prepare for NEET PG at home. The idea is that you need to be careful and not lose track of the time. It is advisable to make a timetable and follow it strictly. Devote at least 8 hours a day to NEET PG preparation.

Make notes and highlight important information

When reading a topic, underline/ highlight the points that you feel are important and can be asked in the examination. This habit will help you save time during revision. You can quickly go through the points that are important and skip the rest.

Register for mock tests and test series

Mock tests and sample papers are very important for NEET PG preparation. If you are preparing for NEET PG 2026 at home, you should join a test series. Do not depend only on sample papers. Mock tests help you understand the real exam pattern. They improve your speed and accuracy. They also help you manage time better. Try to give at least two mock tests every week to check your preparation level.

Seek advice from a mentor

Preparing for NEET PG at home without coaching is not going to be easy. You need a guide or a mentor to help you move in the right direction. Seek help from an old college professor or a senior, anyone who knows what NEET PG is about.

Satellite lectures for difficult topics

You may come across topics that are difficult to understand, and you may have doubts with respect to them. For such topics, you can either refer to the online video tutorials or you can also seek experts' help for clearing your doubts. For video tutorials, you must have a good internet connection.

Regular revision

Allocate time for revision in your timetable. Candidates usually start with revision after they complete the entire syllabus, but this practice is not effective. Devote an hour for revision every day. This will keep the wheel moving, and you can complete more revision cycles by the time you finish the syllabus.
