NEET PG 2023: Counselling Schedule (Soon), Cut off, Result, Question Paper, Pattern

NEET PG 2023 Counselling schedule will be released anytime soon. Candidates will have to register on the official website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to participate in the counselling. Candidates who qualified NEET PG 2023 with the minimum cut off can participate in the counselling. Earlier on March 26, NEET PG 2023 scorecard was released on the official website. Candidates had to download the scorecard by logging to their account with application ID and password. NEET PG 2023 result was declared on March 14. Candidates had to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. NBE also released the cut off score along with NEET PG 2023 result. NEET PG 2023 cut off was released for each category. The exam was held on Sunday, March 5 in computer-based mode. According to students, the exam was easy. Earlier there were apprehensions that the exam could be postponed as students were protesting for the same. But the Supreme Court rejected NEET PG 2023 postponemnt plea on February 27. The court didn't buy the argument presented by the lawer representing petitioners. It must be noted that registration window was reopened after internship cut off deadline was revised from June 30 to August 11.

Earlier, NBE had restarted registration for NEET PG 2023 on January 9 and the last date to submit application form for the exam was February 12 for eligible candidates. Candidates had to register on nbe.edu.in to submit NEET PG 2023 application form. Earlier the deadline to complete the internship to become eligible for NEET PG 2023 exam was June 30. 

Candidates had to register online to submit application for NEET PG 2023. NEET PG 2023 application form has to be filled and submitted in online mode only. NEET PG 2023 application process involves registration, filling application form, uploading documents, and paying registration fee. 

NEET PG 2023, a national level entrance test will be held for providing admission into 19,953 MD seats, 10,821 MS seats, and 1,979 PG Diploma seats offered by various medical colleges in India. NEET PG scores are mandatory to get admission to MD, MS, and diploma courses in medical colleges. No other exams will be valid except NEET PG for admission into the above-mentioned courses. NEET PG 2023 Exam Dates

NEET PG 2023 Counselling

After the result announcement, NBE will release the counselling schedule for NEET PG 2023. The counselling will start most likley from July 15. Those candidates whose names will be there on the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling. NEET PG 2023 counselling starts with registration and ends with reporting to allocated colleges for documents verification. Candidates will have to make online registration to take part in the counselling round. They will have to fill the choice of courses and colleges after registration. Admission will be given on the basis of the choice filed, availability of seats, reservation, and other criteria.

NEET PG 2023 Result

NBE has published NEET PG 2023 results for those candidates who appeared for the exam. Candidates will be able to download the result of NEET PG 2023 through their login ID and password. The candidate must note that the result will be valid for the current academic session only. After the result, the scorecard will be released which will mention the candidate’s name, roll number, category, total marks out of 800, the total number of correct and incorrect responses. Canidates have to score the minimum cut off marks to qualify for the exam.

NEET PG 2023 Cut off

NEET PG cut off is the minimum marks to be scored by candidates to get admission into MD/MS and diploma courses. Those who will score less than the cut off mark prescribed by NBE will not be eligible for admission. NEET PG 2023 cut off will be different for different category candidates. NEET PG cut off for general candidates is 50 per cent while for ST/ SC/ OBC, it is 40 per cent. For general PwD candidates, the cut off percentile is 45. NBE will revise the standard cutoff percentile for the NEET PG result if the number of qualified candidates is found to be insufficient.

NEET PG 2023 Question Paper Analysis

NEET PG 2023 question paper was easy as comparision to last time, as per the students. The overall difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate. Questions were mostly clinical in nature. A good number of questions were from Microbiology, Medicine and Gynaecology. The NEET PG 2023 question paper analysis is on the basis of reactions of exam-taking students. It must be noted that official NEET PG 2023 question paper is not released. However, some coaching centres release memory-based question paper.

Alike question paper, NEET PG 2023 answer key will also not be released by NBE. Based of memory of students, unofficial answer key for NEET PG 2023 will be released after the exam. NEET PG 2023 Syllabus

Candidates should know the syllabus for NEET PG 2022 exam so that they will make preparation strategies accordingly. The NEET PG syllabus comprises subject areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the Medical Council of India. NEET PG 2023 syllabus overlaps with many of the subjects being taught in MBBS/BDS courses. Candidates should study these subjects thoroughly to score well in the exam. NBE might release the syllabus along with the official information brochure.

NEET PG 2023 Pattern

NEET PG exam pattern comprises the mode of exam, language, duration, the total number of questions and their type, and marking scheme. Refer to the below-mentioned pointers to understand NEET PG 2023 exam pattern:

Mode of the Exam: NEET PG 2023 will be conducted in computer-based mode at designated centres across the country.

Language: The question paper will be in the English language only.

Number of questions and type: There will be 200 multiple choice questions in the exam paper.

Duration: Candidates will be given 3.5 hours to answer questions in the exam.

Marking scheme: For each correct answer, candidates will get 4 marks while for negative answers, one mark will be deducted.

NEET PG 2023 Registration/Application Form

Candidates can refer to the crucial details given below regarding NEET PG application form 2023:

• Orginally, NEET PG 2023 registration had started on January 7. The last date to submit application form was January 27.

• The application form of NEET PG 2023 was released online and candidates had to fill and submit it on the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in.

• Filling online application includes registration and generating login id and password, uploading images including photograph, signature, uploading documents, selecting exam city, and paying the exam fee.

• Registration is the first step before filling NEET PG 2023 online application form.

• Candidates have to generate login ID and password by submitting basic details like name, date of birth and academic qualifications.

• Once the application form is submitted, candidates should take a print out of the filled application form along with the transaction id printed on it.

• NBE opens the correction window to enable candidates to edit certain details in the application form of NEET PG.

• Candidates can change some details in the application like date of birth, gender, and signature through the correction window.

NEET PG Application Fee

NEET PG 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for NEET PG 2023 entrance exam is as follows:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have MBBS degree/provisional Pass Certificate recognised by Medical Council of India.

Certificate of Registration: They should possess the permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification.

Internship: Candidates who wish to apply must have completed their one-year internship on or before August 11, 2023.

NEET PG 2023 Admit Card

NEET PG 2023 admit card was released online on February 27 for registered candidates only. Those who are found ineligible are not issued the admit card for NEET PG exam. Candidates will be able to download it from the official website of NBE through login id and password. NBE doesn't send NEET PG admit cards to individual candidates. However, it will intimate candidates about the availability through Email/SMS.
