Yes. NBE has released official notification for NEET PG 2025 exam date (revised). The exam will be held on August 3, 2025. The exam will be held in single shift. NEET PG 2025 was earlier scheduled for June 15 but it was postponed after Supreme Court's intervention. SC directed NBE to make arrangements to conduct NEET PG 2025 in single shift.

It must be noted the correction window is opened to rectify incorrect images in the application form. Candidates have to login and rectify images such as photograph, signature, and thumb impression. It is the final opportunity to make changes in NEET PG application form.

Following the decision, NBE postponed the exam. Then its submitted August 3 as proposed date to conduct the exam. NEET PG 2025 result was declared on August 19, 2025.
No. Candidates can't carry any electronic item such as mobile phone, calculator, bluetooth, earphone to NEET PG centre. Some of the items which are not allowed at NEET PG centre have been enlisted below:
- Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
- All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin
- Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
- Any eatable items and water bottle are also banned.
If you have made notes from each of the topics, that is the best thing. It will help you to improve your performance in the exam. Use that notes to revise key topics first, followed by others. As these notes are prepared by students themselves, these prove very useful in last moment revision.
Don’t take up any new topic
NEET PG 2025 syllabus is vast and candidates may have left some topics by mistake or due to time constrain. But new topic needs thorough study, notes making exercise, and revision. The whole process consumes a lot of time and candidates have only six days for the exam to begin. This time needs to be optimally used to fine-tune their strategy. Candidates must spend these days recollecting whatever has been learned till now.
Focus on clinical subjects
This time more questions could be asked from clinical subjects. Candidates need to plan accordingly to score hundred percent marks in this section. Some of the most important clinical subjects which candidates need to revise are Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Pediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, PSM, Radiology, Psychiatry.
Concentrate on applied aspect in Pre/Para clinical portion
NEET PG syllabus comprises three sections, Pre clinical, Para clinical, and Clinical. These are further segmented into Anatomy, Pathology, and Psychiatry, among others. For Pre/Para clinicals, students are advised to concentrate on applied aspects rather than the entire theory/topic.
Appear for the mock test
Your performance in the mock test provides real picture of your preparation for the D-day. Candidates are advised to appear for the mock test so that they know where are the gaps and what more needs to be done. Candidates may have attempted many mock tests earlier but a week before the exam, a mock test helps candidates to gain confidence. Revise the topics thoroughly once and appear for the final mock test before the exam day.
Be calm, composed, and confident
These 3Cs prove vital in scaling up things in candidates' favor. Candidates are advised not to lose sleep thinking too much about how they will perform on the exam day. They just need to give their best shot on the D-day. Think about your strong point, which subject areas you are master at. Get confidence with the fact that you know better than others in many of the topic areas. Don’t let negative things overpower you.
Take good care of health
Students often get stressed during exam time. They skip a meal at times and their sleeping pattern also changes. This may take a toll on their health. Candidates are advised not to skip meal and sleep at least 5-6 hours daily. Eating on time and taking good night sleep keep mind relaxed and refreshed. Moreover, candidates can’t afford even a small ailment before the exam.
