NID M Des Result
The National Institute of Design (NID) will declare the final results for Master of Design (M.Des) admissions on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Candidates can access their results by logging in with their credentials on the official admissions portal.
Following the announcement, Round 1 of seat allotment will commence the same day. Shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats based on merit, availability of seats, and the preferences of disciplines submitted at the time of application. The seat allotment will be done in order of merit within the respective category.
Candidates who are allotted a seat must confirm it by:

Paying the NON-REFUNDABLE token fees and

Uploading the required documents. These steps must be completed by May 8, 2025 (till midnight).
NID emphasizes that it is the sole responsibility of the candidates to check for timely updates on the official admissions website and complete the required actions within the given deadline. All further communications will be sent to the registered email ID provided during the application process.

Note: Seat allotment is strictly based on merit and the discipline preferences submitted by the candidates at the time of applying. Once the seat is allotted, it must be confirmed within the stipulated time to avoid cancellation.

To check your NID DAT result, follow the steps.
- Go to website of NID
- Click on NID DAT result link
- Enter the registered email address and date of birth.
- On successful log-in, the result of NID DAT will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of the result.
Note that scores of DAT Prelims 2026 exam will be used to shortlist candidates for the next round (DAT Mains).
The FINAL result of NID DAT will be prepared by giving weighatge to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
Rechecking only ensures that there were no calculation or totaling errors in the marks. No re-evaluation of answers or reassessment of creative work will be done. If any discrepancy is found, necessary corrections will be made. If any changes occur after the rechecking process, the final updated result will be communicated to the candidate through the official portal. However, if no errors are found, the original marks will remain unchanged.
