NID Registration for B.Des and M.Des 2027 is open now. To apply for NID Exam, candidates must register and create an applicant account. Next, they have to log in to the candidate account, fill in all required fields, upload documents and pay the exam fee. The registration will close on November 30, 2026. There will also be an option to edit the NID Registration form, which opens from December 01, 2026 to December 03, 2026.

The registration fee for NID Application 2027 for B.Des and M.Des is INR 3,000 for General, Gen EWS and OBC and INR 2,000 for Female Candidates (except ST, SC and PwD). NID registration form 2027 is for admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses offered by NID-participating colleges.

The process to fill NID Registration form 2027 is given below.

Registration: Click on the registration link given above. Select a program of study and then fill in details like your name, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, etc. On registration, a unique applicant account will be created.
Log in to fill out the form: You can log in to the account using your email ID and date of birth. Fill in all the required fields in the application form, including educational qualifications, contact details and personal information. Additionally, you will also have to select an NID exam center.
Upload documents: In the next step, upload scanned copies of your signature, photograph and category documents as per the specified format.
Pay the application fee: Check that the application is complete in all respects because once the application fee is paid, the application process will be completed and the application can’t be edited any further.

NID Eligibility Criteria 2027

NID applicants must carefully review the program-wise NID eligibility criteria. The criteria cover requirements like academic qualifications, minimum marks, age limit, number of attempts, etc. If the candidate fails to meet the prescribed criteria, he or she could be disqualified.

To fill NID DAT 2027 application form, candidate will need the following documents and in the given format.

NID Registration Fee - Submission of Application with Late Fees

For applications submitted after the deadline, a late fee amount will be levied. This amount will be in addition to the application fee. The late fee amount is equivalent to 50% of the application fee.

NID Application Correction Window

The window to edit the NID DAT 2027 application form will open from 4 pm on December 01, 2026, to 11:59 pm on December 03, 2026.

Candidates can make some corrections in the NID DAT 2027 application form by accessing the edit window. Only some information in the form can be edited; other details, like name, date of birth, etc., cannot be edited.

Candidates can modify the details filled in the application form, except the Program Applied, Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number & Registered Email ID when the Window to Edit Application Form' opens.
Candidates will have to pay fees applicable in addition to the application fees if the candidate changes his/her applied category or gender during the "Window to Edit Application Form" period. However, no refund of excess fees will be made in the case of any category or gender change.
Particulars that can be edited include the exam center, address, uploaded documents, etc. So be careful when filling out the form.
