IIT Kanpur Alumni Meet: The class of 1974 of the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) has committed Rs. 10.11 crore to support a variety of initiatives at the institute. The pledge comes as part of the Golden Jubilee Reunion, held from February 23 to 25, 2024, which saw attendance from more than 80 alumni and their families.

This act underscores the alumni's strong commitment to fostering research and student-centric initiatives at IIT Kanpur. The reunion, spanning three days, provided a valuable opportunity for the alumni to reminisce about their past, reconnect with each other, and reinforce their dedication to supporting the institute's pursuit of excellence.

Expressing gratitude for such a generous pledge made by the class of 1974, Prof. S. Ganesh, Director, IIT Kanpur, said, “IIT Kanpur takes great pride in its alumni, and time and again, our alumni have come together for supporting the growth of their alma mater through various means.
