National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli has released the provisional NIMCET 2025 answer key online at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. Candidates can now access the provisional NIMCET answer key by logging in using their User ID and password. No other mode has been used to release the provisional key. Using the answer key, the probable scores obtained in the NIMCET 2025 exam can be calculated.
Steps to download the provisional NIMCET 2025 answer key
Candidates can follow the given steps to access the NIMCET provisional answer key.
- Go to nimcet.admissions.nic.in
- Click on ‘Login for NIMCET 2025’
- Candidates will have to provide their User ID and password.
- Click on ‘Login’
- The answer key will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates are advised to download the answer key for future use.
The authorities will accept objections against the provisional NIMCET answer key 2025 until June 13, 2025 (11:59 PM). To raise objections, the candidates will have to log in and select the question to be challenged. The supporting proof and fee of INR 500 (per objection) have to be submitted. The objection fee has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. After the final date, the objections will not be accepted. Once all objections are checked, the final NIMCET answer key will be prepared and released. Based on the final key, the NIMCET 2025 result will be declared tentatively on June 27, 2025.

The NIMCET answer key will be released by the exam conducting the National Institute of Technology. The NIMCET answer key will consist of all the correct answers to the questions asked in the entrance examination. Candidates can also verify their responses based on that. This will help them in calculating their probable test scores as per the NIMCET marking scheme.
After the release of the NIMCET answer key, candidates will be able to raise challenges or objections against the provisional answer key. For this, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable amount of INR 500 for each question. After reviewing and rectifying the challenges, the NIMCET exam authorities will upload the modifications made to the provisional answer keys on the NIMCET official website along with the NIMCET result.
