AP LAWCET 2026: Tie-Breaking in Rank List

Sometimes two or more students get same marks in AP LAWCET 2026 exam. In that case, tie-breaking rules are used to decide who gets higher rank. It helps to keep the ranking fair for everyone.

  1. Marks in Part-C (Aptitude for Study of Law): The student who scores more marks in this part will get better rank.
  2. Marks in Part-B (Current Affairs): If marks are still same, then marks in this section are checked next.
  3. Age of Candidate: When both have same marks in all parts, the older one will be given higher rank.

Filling the AP LAWCET 2026 form not needed if planning only for National Law Universities (NLUs) or private colleges that take CLAT scores. But if aiming for law colleges in Andhra Pradesh, then the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET form must be filled. Both CLAT and AP LAWCET are different admission ways.
