AP LAWCET, or Andhra Pradesh State Law Common Entrance Test, is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses offered by law colleges affiliated law colleges of Andhra University. AP LAWCET question paper consists of 120 objective-type questions. These 120 questions are divided into three sections. These sections are General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Law Study. The marks distribution for each section is different. General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Law Study contain 30, and 60 marks, respectively. As a result, the Aptitude for Law Strudy section carries the most weightage in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam.

The AP LAWCET 2026 exam is to be held on May 4, 2026.  The candidates will have to register online for the exam using their registered email ID and password. AP LAWCET Application process will begin soon. The registered candidates will be issued the hall ticket to sit for the exam.

Questions in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET Exam are broadly asked from three subjects: General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs and Aptitude for the Study of Law.
