FTII JET application process 2026 has ended. The registration window opened on March 11 on the official website. Candidates who wish to get admission at postgraduate and PG Certificate courses at FTII must have applied for the entrance exam. Only registered candidates will be issued FTII JET Admit Card to appear for Stage 1 exam.
The application process includes providing personal & academic details, uploading documents, selecting course & centre preference and paying JET application fee. How To Fill FTII JET 2026 Application Form?
Candidates can access FTII JET form by creating login credentials. Check below the process of FTII JET 2026 registration.
- Open the official - ftii.ac.in
- Log in with created FTII JET login details.
- Now, click on the "fill application" button to complete application form.
- Enter personal details, including Name of the Candidate, Mother and Father, Gender, Category, PwD Status, Nationality, correspondence and permanent address, educational and qualification details, and so on.
- Click on Fill Qualification and Other Details and enter required information.
- Upload the following documents. Then click on "Save and Continue"

During FTII JET application process, candidates must keep following points in mind:
- Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout selection process.
- Candidates must check the number of exam cities and courses they are allowed to select while filling form.
- Applicants must duly fill and upload the category certificates to avail benefits during admission process.
- Candidates must note that there will be a medical test after both stages are over, for final selection. If a candidate believes he/she will not pass the same, it is better not to apply for the exam.

On clearing the Joint Entrance Test (JET), students can get admission into Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) as well as the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute of India (SRFTI). You might already know that you have to carry your admit card to the FTII JET exam centre. You can take two copies just to be safe. Also, carry a government issued photo ID like your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Driver's License. And you can only take the test with a blue/ black ball point pen, so carry those.

No, candidates can't change the exam centre after finally submitting the FTII JET application form. The test centre cannot be changed once candidates have filled it as there is no application correction window provided by the exam conducting authority. If candidate's want a change in the exam centre they will have to inform the exam conducting officials regarding this however, there the chances for the changes are slighter.
No, there is no such provision for re-evaluation provided by the exam conducting authority for the FTII JET result. However, if candidates find any issue with their answer sheet they can request a review of their answer scripts within a specified time frame after the result declaration but the chances of redressal is very low.

No, a candidate cannot fill FTII JET application form offline. The Film and Television Institute of India releases JET registration form in online mode and candidates have to fill and submit the same in online form only. No offline application form will be accepted by FTII for entrance exam.
