IIT Dhanbad is a government institute. It was established in 1926 and was formerly known as the Indian School of Mines before its conversion into an IIT. The institute provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes and the courses include BTech, MTech, MSc, MBA, Executive MBA, PhD, etc. under 18 departments. 

Kerala University conducts an entrance exam for PG admission. For most of the UG programmes, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For MBA, the university accepts national or state-level entrance exams such as CAT,  CMAT and KMAT. Kerala University may call the shortlisted students for group discussion and personal interview rounds for some of the courses such as MBA, MSW, etc. Once the candidates are shortlisted, Kerala University releases a course-wise merit list. LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

SC/ST, LBC, EBC scholarships are awarded and also available for the students at University College of Science, Osmania University joining post-graduate PG programmes, subject to certain terms & conditions. The Government of Telangana will soon announce the eligibility requirement, modalities for uploading the required certificates & forms.

All Osmania University students have to strictly follow the instructions given by the Government for the sanction of Scholarships.
