To be eligible for IBPS PO exam, candidates must have graduation and should be between 20 to 30 years of age. Read this article for detailed IBPS PO eligibility criteria 2019.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has prescribed IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019. Candidates willing to appear for the exam need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the age, educational qualification and nationality. According to IBPS PO eligibility criteria, candidates who are between 20 to 30 years and have completed their graduation are eligible to apply for the exam. Candidates must note that their eligibility will be verified at the time of document verification. If any candidate is found to be ineligible will be rejected from the recruitment process.

IBPS PO 2019 application form has been released on August 7. Candidates can apply for IBPS PO exam till August 28, 2019. Before applying, candidates must check IBPS PO eligibility criteria 2019 carefully. The detailed IBPS PO eligibility criteria 2019 is provided below on this page.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Nationality

Candidates applying for IBPS PO must be either –

A citizen of India or

(ii)A subject of Nepal or

(iii)A subject of Bhutan or

(iv)A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sir Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intension of permanently settling in India.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Age Limit

The age limit of candidates will be recognized as on August 1, 2019. The minimum age limit prescribed for IBPS PO is 20 years while the maximum age limit is 30 years. A candidate must have born not earlier than August 2, 1989 and not later than August 1, 1999.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as given below –

physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment

Persons ordinarily domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the

period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.198

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Educational Qualification

  • Any graduate candidate can apply for IBPS PO
  • Candidates must have valid marksheet/degree certificate
  • Candidates must have to enter the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering for the exam
  • The final result should have been declared on or before August 28, 2019
