SSC CHSL 2022 notification was released on February 1. The candidates need to fill out the application form online at the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The last date to apply for the SSC CHSL exam 2022 is March 7. The candidates can submit the application fee online or offline later after filling out the application online. SSC CHSL exam 2022 is scheduled to be conducted in May 2022. The candidates need an SSC registration number to log in and fill out the application form.

SSC registration can only be done on the centralised website of SSC. The candidates filling their SSC applications for the first time need to register on the official website of SSC to generate the registration number and password.

How to register for SSC CHSL 2022 exam?

• Go to the official website of SSC- ssc.nic.in
• Click on the new user link given at the right-hand side of the home page
• Enter an AAdhaar Number in case the candidates have one and verify it.

In case the candidates do not have the aadhaar number, they can also provide other government id proof such as PAN Number and the like.

If the candidate does not provide the Aadhaar Number, s(he) can give any of the following ID proofs.

1. School/College ID Card
2. PAN Card
3. Driving Licence
4. Voter-Id Card
5. Passport
6. Govt Id Card
7. School/College ID Card
8. Class Xth Certificate for roll number

After the id proof, the candidates are required to fill in various personal details such as

• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Date of Birth
• Matriculation Details, including a year of passing the exam
• Gender
• Level of Educational Qualification
• Active Mobile number
• Email_id
• State/UT of Permanent Address

Candidates need to submit additional contact details on the second page.

Format and Size of Scanned Images

On the third page, the candidate needs to upload the scanned image of the signature and photo. SSC has prescribed size for the scanned copy of the documents.

The candidates should review the details once again before submitting them to the commission. Commission provides the opportunity to edit the details later after the application process ends, but it charges fees for editing the details.

An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and the email id provided in the registration form. The candidate needs to submit this OTP and after the submission, the SSC registration number will be generated and sent to the registered email id and mobile number. After the registration on the official website of SSC, the candidates need to change their password as suggested by the Commission. After changing the password, the candidates can proceed to the candidate’s dashboard to fill SSC CHSL 2022 applications.
