The exam is being conducted for admission to the postgraduate programmes offered at 66 central and other universities for 3.57 lakh candidates. CUET PG Exam Pattern 2022: Marking Scheme
The total marks of CUET PG 2022 is 400. The marking scheme of the CUET PG 2022 exam is as follows:

CUET PG 2022 Analysis
According to test-takers, the General Test was easy and the Domain Knowledge section was moderate to tough. The questions were on the expected lines and within the CUET PG 2022 syllabus but according to some students, a few questions were out of the syllabus and tricky. Although a majority of the candidates thought that the exam duration of two hours was sufficient, few were of the opinion that the duration was not sufficient to solve the exam. Also, they felt that the level of the questions was of the undergraduate level.

Rishi: I had opted for the Geography paper. It was of moderate difficulty level. The question topics were within the syllabus. The General Test section consisting of 25 questions was also easy. I have opted for JNU.
Khushi: I appeared for the Life Sciences subject in CUET PG 2022. Although the difficulty level of the paper was moderate, it was difficult for me to manage the time since the questions were lengthy. Some of the topics from Life Sciences were Animal Physiology, Plant Physiology and Human Physiology among others. The General Test was easy for me.
Ritwik: I took the Life Sciences paper for CUET PG. The topics from which the majority of the questions were asked included Genetics and Cell Theory. Even though the questions were from the syllabus, I found the questions on the tougher side. Rest, there were no challenges regarding the General Test or time management.
Below are the list of changes that have been introduced in the CUET PG exam for the academic session 2024-2025:
- There will not be any general paper for CUET PG exam. From this year the candidate can choose General paper as a Subject. The comprehension part of these papers would be English or Hindi as chosen by the candidate during registration.
- CUET PG Question paper choice reduced: Until last year, candidates were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all but from this year on, candidates can choose maximum of four question paper codes.
- Duration of Exam would be of 105 Minutes.
- The Question paper will have 75 Questions.
- CUET PG 2024 examination centres reduced to 300 from 313.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. It is offered by the university through the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management & Entrepreneurship. JNU was ranked 2nd position in the University category by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024. Talking about JNU placements, the median package offered during JNU PG 2-year placements in 2023 stood at INR 9.5 LPA. So, yes JNU is a decent option to pursue an MBA degree.
JNU MCA admission is based on a valid Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) CUET-PG score. CUET PG is an all-India-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to test-takers, the General Test was easy and the Domain Knowledge section was moderate to tough. Although the questions were on the expected lines and within the CUET PG syllabus but according to some students, a few questions were out of the syllabus and tricky. So, the JNU MCA entrance is not very tough but can be tricky.
Afsha: My CUET PG paper was on Biotechnology. The paper was of medium difficulty level. Apart from Biotechnology topics, there were questions on Botany and Zoology as well. My preferred universities are the Central University of Gujarat or the Central University of Haryana and JNU.
Prachi: I had opted for the Zoology paper. The questions were mainly Calvin Cycle, Bryophytes, Pteridophyte, Biostatistics, Biotechnology, and Genetics among others. Although there were some surprise questions, overall it was a moderate paper. I am aiming to get through either JNU or the Central University of Haryana.
Navin: I took the Geography paper today. Since I did my graduation in Geology, the exam was a little tough for me. The topics of questions were within the syllabus only but I found the Research and Statistics questions on the tougher side and they were time-consuming as well.
CUET PG is the gateway to around 80 postgraduate courses. The exam is being conducted in CUET PG test centres located in 250 cities across India and 13 cities abroad.
