MCAER CET MTech Analysis 2024: Get Detailed Paper Analysis & Review

Given below is the MCAER PG CET 2024 exam pattern for candidates so that they can prepare accordingly:

Since the MCAER PG CET 2024 exam has not been conducted so far hence students can check the previous year exam analysis and accordingly they can make their strategy to qualify for the exam. 

The entrance exam was held from 10 am onwards, and candidates who appeared for the examination shared the inputs as under: 

Difficulty level of the examination - MCAER CET 2023 question paper was of moderate to tough difficulty level. 

Subjects included in the question paper - The questions paper was based on more than 10 subjects including, Computer Science, Engineering, Political Science, Economics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Extension Education, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Agronomy, Botany and more. 

Type of questions - There were objective-type of questions from each subject i.e. candidates have to understand, analyse and attempt the questions by darkening the correct option in the OMR sheet. 

Subject-wise difficulty - According to some candidates, all the subjects were of moderate level only except for Economics questions, which were tricky and time-taking. 

MCAER PG CET 2024 marking scheme is as follows: 

• Each question carries 1 mark, and the same shall be awarded to the candidates who have attempted questions correctly. 
• There will be no negative marking in case of wrong attempts by the candidates. 

Besides, candidates should note that only the question attempted correctly will be taken into consideration, which means multiple options should not be darkened by the candidates for each question, and all the ovals should be filled in properly. 

This year the total marks for which exam will be conducted is 200, hence the expected cut-off will be as under:
