AMU BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Entrance Exam, Placements

There are various government jobs that a BTech graduate of Aligarh Muslim University can seek. Jobs in the government sector are lucrative, stable and prestigious. Shortlisted candidates have to present a list of documents for verification purposes at the time of admission to the courses offered at AMU. Candidates must carry the following original documents at the time of physical reporting:

1. Mark sheet of last qualifying examination (with four self-attested photocopies)
2. Transfer/migration and character certificate (If the Certificate is not available, an undertaking on the prescribed format is to be submitted within the due date)
3. High school certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth
4. Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (with white background)
5. Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in the application form
6. Leave sanction/relieving order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employed.
7. Name removal certificate from the rolls of the concerned faculty/college/unit (if already enrolled in another full-time course at AMU)
8. Two self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth INR 22 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted).
9. Two Undertakings on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/guardian regarding not indulging in ragging
10. the latest Certificate of vaccination for Typhoid, Cholera and Hepatitis “B” – (applicable only for BSc Nursing course)

No, the application process for Aligarh Muslim University BTech admissions has been concluded. The authorities accepted applications with a late fee till February 15, 2025. Candidates who submitted an application successfully must appear for the AMUEEE to secure admission.

AMUEEE is the entrance exam conducted to shortlist prospective candidates for BTech admission at Aligarh Muslim University. 2026 entrance exam dates are not yet released.

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University offers a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) that lasts four years. The programme is offered in the full-time mode during the evening batch. Admission to AMU B.E courses is based on AMUEEE scores. The B.E specialisations available at AMU are listed below:

AMUEEE 2026 will be held on April 19 as a pen and paper based test. All candidates have to qualify AMUEEE exam to be eligible for admission.

For AMUEEE, the candidates will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. The level of AMUEEE syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying examination syllabus. All of the important topics have to be studied so that the candidates are well prepared for the upcoming entrance exam. The official AMUEEE 2026 syllabus will be released online.

AMU NEET Cutoff 2025 was released till Round 5 for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. AMU accepts the NEET Cutoff ranks, followed by AMU NEET Counselling for admission to the medical courses. The AMU Cutoff 2025 for NEET was released for all categories under the All India quota. 

For the General category candidates, the cutoff for MBBS course admission was  12762, according to the last round closing ranks. For the BDS course admission, the last round closing rank was 29279.  Please note that the cutoff ranks vary for each category, round, courses, etc.

During AMUEEE registration, candidates will have to pay the fee through net banking/credit card/debit card. The AMUEEE application fee is INR 1050. Offline payments will not be accepted. The late fee is INR 1350.

Aligarh Muslim University BTech admission is based on AMUEEE. This process can only be conducted in online mode. Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMUEEE counselling. Candidates who secure the cut-off ranks decided by the university for various counselling rounds will be allotted seats for BTech at the university.

AMU MBBS cutoff 2025 is based on NEET scores and finally on NEET Counselling. NEET 2025 Counselling has been released up to Round 4. The university also offers BDS courses.. AMU Medical cutoff for NEET UG Last Round seat allotment was 121762 for MBBS and 38852 for BDS for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota. Admission to BTech at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) requires at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in Class 12 or equivalent. Candidates must appear for the AMUEEE and not exceed 21 years as of July 31st of the admission year. 

AMU admission 2023 to various courses is based on CUET as well various entrance exams. AMU releases the list of students who are qualified for the final admission on the official website in form of merit lists or firm lists.
