Conclusion

So, this was the poll analysis of how reliable the CUET PG entrance exam is for the MSc aspirants. We can see that 48% of the total voters find CUET PG to be a fair choice to select students for MSc courses. Whereas 33% of candidates do not think that it is a fair way for student selection to top colleges.

Apart from the clear and stern responses of a yes or no, we also had around 14% of voters having a mixed opinion about the exam. Whereas, 5% of candidates think it is too early for them to decide, maybe indicating that they are not at the concerned stage in their careers yet, and have not given it enough thought as of now.

I went through the same confusion when I was preparing for CUET.

From my experience, CUET previous year question paper and mock tests both played different roles, and neither alone was enough.

What PYQs actually helped me with

When I started solving CUET previous year question papers, I realized:

With a CUET PG MCA score of 118, admission to top central universities like DU, JNU, BHU, or premier NITs/IITs is unlikely, as their MCA cutoffs generally range between 170–200+ for the General category. However, you still have realistic chances in newer central universities, state universities, and

MBA students who wish to apply for Goel Group of Institutions scholarships through CUET-PG scores will need to secure a rank of 5000 at best.

After 5,000, candidates will witness an increase of scholarship if they score either 2,100 or above in CUET-PG.

With a CUET PG score of 110, admission to M.Sc. Mathematics at Delhi University is very unlikely. DU's CUET PG cutoffs for Science courses, including Mathematics, generally range much higher—often above 200–250 marks out of 300 for the General category.
