The University accepts CUET scores to admit students for the BA (Hons) programme. However, candidates seeking admission need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as mentioned below. The BHU BA eligibility criteria is mentioned in the following table:

BHU BA Admission Dates 2025
The admission cycle for the UG programme commences with the release of CUET dates. As per past years' data, the application form for the entrance exam is out in February. Tabulated below are the BHU BA admission dates:

BHU BA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
BHU is accepting CUET-UG entrance exam scores for admission to several undergraduate courses. For BHU course admission, aspirants must apply online to register themselves. Follow the step-wise admission process as given below:
1. BHU BA (Hons) Application Process 2025
The BHU application process is conducted online through the official website of NTA. For successful application submission, candidates need to pay an application fee. The fee for General category students is INR 750, INR 700 for OBC-NCL/EWS, and INR 650 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender. The application process consists of the following steps:
- Visit the official website of CUET-UG (cuet.samarth.ac.in) and click on the 'New Registration' tab and read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
- Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details such as personal, educational qualifications etc.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
- Select the course and BHU as per your preference and pay the CUET application fee as mentioned above.
2. CUET Entrance Test
After successful registration, candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website of CUET and clicking on 'Download CUET Admit Card'. The next step is to appear for the entrance test as scheduled.
3. Register for CUET-UG Counselling through the BHU UG Admission Portal
After the declaration of the CUET result, students seeking admission to BHU undergraduate courses are required to register online for CUET-UG Counselling on the University UG admission portal. Candidates who appeared for the CUET-UG exam are only eligible to register themselves for the counselling process.

4. Counselling Round
Based on candidates' scores in CUET-UG, candidates are then required to participate in an online counselling process for provisional admission to the course(s) they have applied for. After that, the final seat allotment will be done by BHU. The total tuition fee ranges between INR 5,900 and INR 11,900. This fee amount is taken from the official website. It is still subject to changes.
BHU BA Cutoff
BHU cutoff is released for the BA course admission until all the seats are filled. In 2023, the BHU BA CUET cutoff score in the last round ranged from 187.08 to 212.43 for the General All-India category students. Students can further check out the following table for the BHU BA cutoff 2023:
