The hostel fee structure for BHU is INR 3,000 - INR 4,000 per semester depending upon the degree. The hostel fee does not include mess charges. Banaras Hindu University is spread across a 1,300-acre campus. There are 41 hostels for boys and 21 for girls. Additionally, there is separate accommodation for international students. The fee for General category students is INR 750, INR 700 for OBC-NCL/EWS, and INR 650 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender. The application process consists of the following steps:

Visit the official website of CUET-UG (cuet.samarth.ac.in) and click on the 'New Registration' tab and read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details such as personal, educational qualifications etc.
Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
Select the course and BHU as per your preference and pay the CUET application fee as mentioned above.

2. CUET Entrance Test

Placements: Banaras Hindu University has a career guidance, training, and placement Cell. Placements can differ from course to course. Professional courses like MBA, B.Tech, and MCA offer spectacular placement opportunities. Various companies such as Fintech, Wipro, Axis Bank, etc., come to recruit students. As per my knowledge, there are ample placement opportunities, and they need to be improved for most of the UG courses like B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., etc. Students mostly pursue higher Studies or research. The final placement depends on the course, skills, and preparation of the student.

Infrastructure: BHU has a well-developed campus with most of the basic amenities available for its students. Classrooms are big and well-furnished. There is a huge and spacious central and cyber library where almost 13 lakh books are available. It also provides students with a good Wi-Fi connection, hostel, Medical, library, ATM, and transport facilities. Apart from this, all departments have separate canteen facilities. The campus also has grounds and courts facilities for various sports such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, etc. The large campus provides a peaceful and suitable environment for academic and personality development.

Faculty: The faculty members are good. They have in-depth knowledge of their respective subjects. They are accountable, responsive towards students, and will guide you whenever needed. They help in overall personality development by helping or pushing students to speak, analyse, and evaluate critical thinking in their subjects and beyond. Overall B.A. Economics follows the curriculum of the NEP 2020 framework. The course well structured and lays a strong foundation for students in economic theory as well as in practical application. The B.A. Economics exams are generally of a moderate level and syllabus-based.

BHU is the best central university located in the city of Varanasi.

Placements: About 70-80 percent placement is confirmed in many potential future. Average packages are about 10 LPA-12 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA-7 LPA, and the highest goes to 30 LPA in the Bachelor of Arts. There are many other streams and branches of study that provide even greater packages like at IIT-BHU.

Infrastructure: The magnificent library feels like a second home to the students living here. There is good connectivity of Wi-Fi all over the campus. We also have a medical facility, and a very large hostel accommodation for both students and professors. There are so many hostels, and they have very good accommodation and mess facilities. They have a Wi-Fi connection.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant to the required industry. Semester exams are not very difficult but are concept-based and have a strict invigilation during the exams.

Other: I chose the course because I have to focus on UPSC CSE. I think this course will help me very much in my career. The campus is very large and beautifully built. One could definitely say that after entering the campus it is another city due to its large campus area. Students here enjoy their lives very much.

The college is overall good, but I would say to go for the main campus instead.

Placements: In my major, philosophy, there were 51 seats. No package or company is recruiting in my course, as this is a Bachelor of Arts degree. There are no paid internships, maybe I am not sure enough, but I guess there is fieldwork to make students ready from the grassroots level.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite nice and clean; the rooms are airy and fresh. It also has a central library where you can issue books, and in the cyber library, you can access your lectures, etc. There is also a proper medical facility and a good space for sports. The food in the mess is mediocre.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Sometimes you will find the office staff a little bit rude, but overall, they help with your doubts. I would say go for the course you are comfortable with. Semester exams are quite friendly. If you have prepared well, you can score well.

Other: I chose this course as it will help me with government exam preparations and is also beneficial for optional subjects because of the short syllabus.

College life is the best. The faculty is nice, and extracurricular activities are always happening.

Placements: There are almost 150 to 200 students in an honours class. It is compulsory for every student to have an internship in the second year, and approximately 80 to 85 percent of students get placed.

Infrastructure: There is a huge central library in our college, as huge as some of the top colleges, where we have both a cyber library and a normal library. Apart from that, every building has a mini library of its own. Wi-Fi connection is available in the buildings as well.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in all aspects, from teaching us and clearing doubts to assisting with internships and placements. The only issue is that exams get scheduled a lot, which the college needs to improve. However, the exams are conducted properly and fairly.

Placements: There is a good placement in our university. The average package is 20 lac. 40 to 50 percent of students get internships. Talented students get a higher amount of package with a prestigious company. Students are happy with this package and job. Some students get a very high package.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. The library, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, hospital, and mess are available in our university. The food in the mess is good. Playgrounds are also available in our university. The library has too many books and such a good infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are kind-hearted and helpful. Semester exams are very difficult and there is no scope for cheating. 80 to 90 percent pass in semester exams. Without studying hard, there is no scope to pass in the semester exam. Students take help from teachers for career guidance and knowledge.

Other: There are many activities on campus: mountaineering, sports, and events. They build our character and knowledge. They help us to know different friends and cultures.

Placements: Political Science at BHU currently has no formal placement cell, though other departments like Geography and Chemistry offer structured placement opportunities through their faculty members. IIT organized a placement cell every year for IIT Bhu students.
