Delhi University BSc Courses & Fees 2026: Eligibility, Admission, Application, Cutoff, Placements

No, CUET application fee is similar as of previous year. The CUET registration fee is updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. University of Delhi admit students in the BSc programmes based on CUET scores. Hence, the aspirants who fulfil eligibility requirements are required to apply on the NTA website for the same. CUET exam fees range from INR 800 to INR 4,500. Moreover, students must select the preferred college and course combination carefully while filling out the application form. Further, after CUET results are announced, students need to register on DU CSAS portal as well to confirm their preference and confirm admission/accept allotted seat.

DU University registrations via CUET usually begins in February every year. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET application process commences online. Candidates willing to appear for CUET exam must ensure to fill out the application form online when released. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.

Followed by the application forms of CUET UG and CUET PG, DU starts the DU CSAS registration for final college and course allotment of students who qualify the exams. The number of students placed during the DU placements 2026 are not out yet. However, so far 1095 SRCC students were placed in the 2026 placement season. Additionally, the number of offers provided to Hansraj and LSR students was 130 and more than 160.

Delhi University offers full-time MSc in multiple specialisations from a number of DU-affiliated colleges. The duration of the programme is two years. Starting 2023, DU admission to all the PG courses will be subject to CUET PG scores seat allotment. A list if all the MSc specialisations available ar DU are as follows:

Yes, you can get into DU with a score of 500 in CUET UG. For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff varied from 306.25 to 747.87 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science course. Hence, check the table below to know which colleges are available with the attained score.

While minimum Class 12 are required, DU admissions are not based on a candidate's Class 12 performance. Instead, CUET UG score is the main selection criteria at DU. The higher CUET score, the better chances at top DU colleges. Hence, applicants have to meet the minimum eligibility of 40%-60% depending on the programme.

At the undergraduate level, DU offers BSc (Hons) and BSc programmes across 19 and 10 specialisations, respectively, of three years' duration. Offered in both honours and general specialisationshe, the honours courses are more specialised and focus on a particular subject area while the general courses are more broad-based and cover a wider range of subjects, such as BSc (General) or BSc (Pass).

Out of the 90+ affiliated colleges under DU, more than 25 instituites offer BSc or BSc (Hons) courses to the students.  Admission to all these courses was subject to merit in Class 12 till 2021. However, starting 2022, admission for all the undergraduate courses at DU will be based on CUET (conducted by NTA). The most popular specialisations offered under BSc (Hons) at the University of Delhi remain Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science, among various others. However, the popularity and choice of the course must depend on students' interest and academic background.

DU registrations via CUET 2023 for UG programmes began on Feb 10, 2023 and were open till Mar 30, 2023. Additionally, for admission to PG courses, DU CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.

Followed by the application forms of CUET UG and CUET PG, DU has already started the DU CSAS registration for final college and course allotment of students who qualified the CUET UG exam. The process will begin soon for CUET PG qualifiers as well.

After the declaration of CUET (UG) results by NTA, the University of Delhi opened a preference-filling phase on its official website. Candidates are required to login on their CSAS (UG) dashboard to choose the courses they are willing to take admission if allocated. Candidates must give their preference for the course + college for every UG course selected by them.
For filling the preferences of course & college combinations in which they are willing to take admission, they must do the following:

• Choose multiple course + college combinations (It is in the best interest of the candidate to fill the maximum number of preferences)
• Take utmost care while selecting the course + college combinations as the order of selection will also determine the preference order.
• Reorder the preferences to prioritize the preference order of course + college combinations
• The submitted preference order will determine the allocation of seat 

Candidate must confirm their order of preferences for the course + college combinations by clicking on 'Submit' cutton on/ before the last day of the preference-filling. It is important to note - Editing the course + college combination preference list after the deadline of preference-filling will not be allowed.
