Good college - Good placement.

Placements: Consider the CS branch, it usually places around 85-90% of the Batch and for the whole college, DTU places about 70% students, where many of them opt for further studies or further exams. The top recruiting companies involve software companies majorly, such as Amazon, Google, Silicon, Microsoft, Apple, etc. Among the highest package recruiters in 2024 - 2025, there were companies like Ebullient Securities, Apple, and Zomato, which took students at 85 LPA, 64 LPA, and 56 LPA CTC, respectively. The lowest package goes about at 3-6 LPA. Top roles evolved are usually SDE or Data Analyst, sometimes a consultant too.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DTU is great. The hostels are decent, as they are old. However, the new girls' hostel and APJ hostel for boys are no less than a hotel, well-maintained. The classrooms and library are good in the new block, old block needs a bit of work. The worst part is the mess and Wi-Fi, the food is very average, and Wi-Fi is always slow or not available in the whole college. The sports and games facility is excellent. The sports complex is equipped with good sports items.

Faculty: Faculty are just like any government college professors. Exams are conducted in a very strict manner, and the maintenance during the exam is on par. The professors are highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant to current tech and industry level. Semester exams are not that tough, one who follows class and curriculum for about 2 hrs a day can easily do great in the semester exam. The pass percentage is strict, which involves a minimum 75% attendance, further 26/75 marks or 21/60 marks in midsem and endsem for different subjects.

The college is the best in my opinion, placing over 1800 students in 2024-25 at average of 15 LPA.

Placements: I am a fresher, and my branch has just been introduced in this academic year. The placements are ongoing for the 2022-26 batch, with around 700 students placed at an average package of 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Apple, Amazon, NVIDIA, Salesforce, and Google.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled, and there are top-notch computer systems in the lab, including i7 and i9 generation computers. The mess and hostel are provided to students together. The hygiene in the mess is overall good, and Wi-Fi is provided in the hostels. The best spot on the campus is the library. It is extraordinarily big and contains over 10,000 books.

Faculty: Teachers are really well qualified. They have degrees from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is updated with new branches being introduced to keep up with the latest technology. The semester exams are moderate to tough, but students generally prepare well; however, it's tough to get a good CGPA here.

Other: My course is CSDA (Computer Science with Specialisation in Data Science and Analytics). It’s an emerging branch, and its curriculum is really up to date. A few things could be improved by introducing AI research labs in colleges themselves, which would offer flexibility to students in learning. Fests are organized regularly, and DTU ENGIFEST is considered the best in all of North India, overpowering Rendezvous.
