College curriculum is tough with high fees, but high placement and great faculty members.

Placements: Placement record of last year's batch was somewhat around 80 to 85%. This ratio varies among different branches. The minimum, according to my knowledge is 3.5 LPA, and the highest is somewhat around 1.2 crore. Approximately all the MNCs (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, Nvidia) visit our campus to recruit students. Around 80% of students get placed among the shortlisted students (shortlist based on CGPA above 7).

Infrastructure: All day high-speed network is available on the campus. We have top-class infrastructure with modern facilities, all-time medical support, hostels are too good, having an AC in all the rooms, quality of food is not that much better but eatable, sports and gym open 24X7, and students can roam around the campus anytime, no restriction like other colleges have.

Faculty: Our college has great teaching faculty members. The course is relevant, and this can make the students industry-ready. But semester exams are tough, and we also have a plagiarism policy so curriculum is too tough. Atleast 20% fail in a particular subject but this varies from subject to subject.

It is a great college because of its placement records and excellent college life.

Placements: This college is known mainly for placements, as it has an excellent placement record. Every top company comes to our college, from Google and Microsoft to Adobe and Goldman Sachs. The average package is around 28 LPA, with almost 80% of students getting placed, even during the recession. These are the actual figures from the placement season 2024-2025. Everyone knows how much of a recession is going on in the CSE field. The college website might elevate the numbers, but every college does this. The top package goes around 1.0 crore, and even the lowest package is 8 LPA. The median package is around 25 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, with good Wi-Fi speed in almost every part of the college. The library is open 24/7, even at night, so that students can study, and the canteen is also open 24/7. There is great nightlife in the college with no restrictions for anyone. Hostels are great too, with proper cleanliness. The mess food is also good. Hostels are much better than those in IITs. Sports facilities are also great and are open 24/7, with a gym and an indoor swimming pool.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. Most of them are PhDs from abroad. Our director, Pankaj Jalote, is one of the most qualified teachers across India. The course is highly relevant in today's world. They start teaching DSA in the first year itself, and they don't teach any Physics or Chemistry courses like in other colleges, which makes the curriculum highly relevant. This also leads to academic sincerity, as the curriculum is on the tougher side. They have a plagiarism policy that doesn't allow the use of AI tools. Overall, it's all worth it, and the college is really good and helpful.

Other: Apart from academics, the college is great for fests and events. Many events go on throughout the year, like Bollywood Night, Cultural Night, Freshers, Tech Fest, Cultural Fest (Odyssey), and every fresher's favorite period. Which is Induction, when every fresher goes to college for the first time. I chose this college mainly for its great placement record and, most importantly, its relevant curriculum, which is missing in most colleges. A little bit of leniency in deadlines, in my opinion, would be really appreciated. Apart from that, everything is great in the college.

IIITD: Great for R&D, tough workload, beautiful campus, good crowd.

Placements: About 85 to 90% of students are placed. The highest salary was above 1 crore, the average was around 28 LPA, and the lowest was about 7 LPA. All the top companies visit our campus. Approximately 40 to 50% of students begin securing internships from their second year onwards. Many skills such as web development and data handling are emphasized.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is excellent throughout the campus. Labs and libraries are all equipped with Lenovo computer systems. Classrooms are also well-maintained. The hostels are very nice, and the food is good; we are provided breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in the evening.

Faculty: Teachers are skilled, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams here at IIITD are somewhat challenging but manageable. The passing percentage varies by subject, averaging around 30%.

Other: I wanted to explore the coding and computer science fields. It would have been better if it were a bit less hectic. There are many events like Teach Fest, Odyssey, etc.

Review of IIIT Delhi - A good and bad college.

Placements: The placements of the college are very apt. They make efforts to get the students placed after that it's up to the student's efforts and vigor whether they get selected or not. Around 60% of students got placed. The highest salary is 51 LPA, and the lowest salary is 3 LPA. Top companies are Microsoft, Adobe, etc. They hire mainly for tech roles. From CSE, around 80% of students got the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very modern and great. It is a recently built college and the infrastructure is very great and better when compared to other Delhi Colleges. Hostels are also very nice and modernly built. Only problem is that the AC only runs from 7 to 7 in the hostels which makes it difficult to survive in very hot weather.

Faculty: Faculty members are also very qualified. They are great at teaching. They also care for student's feedback and mental health. One issue is that they sometimes overburden the students with quizzes and assignments. But this is justified also given that it's a big college.

Other: The fests are bad and they don't put much effort into conducting them.

The infrastructure is excellent, placements are relatively good, and the faculty is incredible.

Placements: In my course this year, about 75% of students are placed so far. The highest domestic package is around 51 LPA. The lowest is about 3.5 LPA, and the average stands at around 20 LPA to 23 LPA. Top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Myntra, and Mykaarma. The percentage is unknown, but students get internships at companies like Google, Microsoft, and Mykaarma. Top roles include Software Development Engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, with various types of niche laboratories equipped with sophisticated instruments that are easily accessible to students. As for hostels, the food is certainly above average, hygiene is acceptable, the taste is okay, and the variety is great and highly cost-effective. The canteen also serves reasonably priced food. Medical facilities are adequate and available whenever required. The sports and games facilities are amazing; there is a dedicated sports block with all kinds of racquet sports courts and even an indoor swimming pool. We have 2 lawn tennis courts, a basketball court, and a playground. Notable points include a gym facility with trainers and coaches available for various sports.

Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable, with excellent problem-solving skills. The course curriculum and flexibility to intermix courses from various disciplines provide holistic academic support. Along with excellent peer groups, students become industry-ready by the end of the course. Semester exams are generally challenging, but due to the emphasis on regular assessments, quizzes, mid-semester exams, and assignments, students view the difficulty as more of a fun challenge.

Other: I choose this course particularly in this college due to its reputation in IT education, the overall industry relevance of the course, and my interest.

Sorry to say that but with this percentile you can't get any government college. But you can go for private university.
